Two essays are clear

Wen Zhengming, formerly known as Bi (or Bi), the character Zhengming. From the age of forty-two, he used lines of characters to sign Zhong. Wen Zhengming's calligraphy and painting achievements are extremely comprehensive, and his poems, texts, books, and paintings are all exquisite, and he is known as the "four absolute" all-rounders.

Wen Zhengming learned characters from the Su (轼) character. Later, Wen Zhengming learned from Li Yingzhen, Li Yingzhen Shuzong Ouyang Inquiry, Ping Zhengwanhe, Qingrun Duanfang, although not a master of calligraphy, but a calligraphy educator. He is Wen Zhengming's father-in-law and Wen Zhengming's enlightenment teacher. In addition to passing on all his learning experience to Wen Zhengming, he also encouraged him to break through the tradition and create his own style. When Wen Zhengming was 22 years old, Li Yingzhen looked at his Su script and said to Wen Zhengming: "How can it be broken but work with people's feet?" Let the learning become Wang Xizhi, just other people's books! These words influenced Wen Zhengming's life.

Wen Zhengming is famous in the history of calligraphy for being good at both styles, especially good at writing and xiaokai, and his calligraphy is gentle and beautiful, steady and old, and the law is rigorous and vivid. Although it does not have a majestic momentum, it has the style of Jin and Tang dynasty calligraphy. His writing style is less fiery, and in his happy writing, he often exudes a gentle and elegant atmosphere. Perhaps the bumpy journey of his career has worn away his youthful vigor, but the late success of the great instrument has made his style more and more stable.
