Xin'an Evening News Anhui Netnews A few days ago, the national Qing History Project Document Collation Project "Collected Writings of Famous Artists of the Tongcheng School", co-edited by Professor Yan Yunshou of the Anhui Provincial Press and Publication Bureau, Shi Liye, a researcher of the Provincial Academy of Social Sciences, and Professor Jiang Xiaojiao of Anhui University, and 13 experts from 7 units including Anhui University and the Anhui Academy of Social Sciences participated in the national Qing History Project Literature Collation Project.
The "Collected Writings of Famous Masters of the Tongcheng School" includes the poetry collections of 17 writers such as Yao Fan, Wu Dexuan, Chen Yongguang, Fang Dongshu, Yao Chun, Guan Tong, Liu Kai, Yao Ying, Wu Minshu, Long Qirui, Dai Junheng, Wang Zheng, Fang Zongcheng, Xue Fucheng, Ma Qichang, Yao Yongpu, Yao Yongquan, and 11 writers, including Dai Mingshi, Fang Bao, Liu Daxun, Yao Nai, Mei Zengliang, Zeng Guofan, Zhang Yuzhao, Li Shuchang, Wu Rulun, He Tao, and Fan Dangshi, totaling 15 volumes and 10 million words.
The Tongcheng school arose at the time of the Kangxi Dynasty in the Qing Dynasty and continued to the Republic of China for nearly 300 years, and its camp was large, rich in connotation and complex, which was rare in the history of Chinese culture and scholarship. The publication of "Collected Works of Famous Artists of the Tongcheng School" provides a set of more systematic materials for the study of the Tongcheng School, which is conducive to changing the scattered and insufficient research materials of the Tongcheng School in the past, and also provides valuable materials for the academic community to carry out research on the history of Qing Dynasty literature, culture, thought, education, political history, and social history, and provides basic literature for the teaching and scientific research of liberal arts and scientific research and discipline construction in colleges and universities.
