The current Minqin Street is roughly east-west, starting from Jingning Road in the west, Jinchang Road in the east, Qingyang Road in the south, and Wudu Road in the north, divided into front street and back street.
During the Qing Dynasty, Yanjia Lane was used as the dividing line (probably the north-south wall of Xinguan), the west side was called Shangguan Garden, and the east side was called Xiaguan Garden. The east end of the Lower Guanyuan Road is opposite the Gunpowder Bureau in the northeast corner of the Dongshaomen Gate.

In the eighteenth year of the Republic of China (1929 AD), there was a severe drought in Gansu Province, and countless hungry people were starving everywhere, so Liu Erzhao opened a warehouse here to help the disaster victims.

The former site of Xianningcang was later built with 2 residential buildings. On the north side of the official garden, there was originally a reservoir called the source of the water hole, which was also initiated by Mr. Liu Erzhuo. Later, due to disrepair, the pool was filled with garbage, resulting in sewage flowing, coupled with the fact that the guanyuan itself was a big fall nest, the terrain was low, and it encountered heavy rain or torrential rain, and the rainwater in the south of Dongguan Avenue and the area around Xinguan Zhongxin Lane in the north poured into here, making the streets and alleys seriously damaged and muddy. In December 1945, the residents of Guanyuan raised 300,000 yuan and applied for a subsidy of 200,000 yuan from the municipal government to renovate the large pool, build a street ditch, and repair part of the road. Construction began in March 1946 and was completed on May 20 of the same year.

The Tianjia Grand Courtyard in Xiaguanyuan sits north and faces south, with a total of 22 houses in one courtyard and two courtyards.
