A few days ago, with the approval of the Jilin Provincial CPC Committee, the Jilin Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission conducted a case review and investigation of Zhang He, a former member of the party leading group and deputy director of the Jilin Provincial Water Conservancy Department, for serious violations of discipline and law.
After investigation, Zhang He violated political discipline and resisted organizational scrutiny; violated the spirit of the eight central regulations, accepted gifts in violation of the law, and accepted banquets that might affect the fair execution of official duties; violated honesty and discipline and engaged in money and color transactions. Taking advantage of one's position to seek benefits for others and illegally accepting money or property from others, the amount of which is particularly huge, is suspected of accepting bribes.
As a leading cadre who is a party member, Zhang He has lost his ideals and convictions, betrayed his original mission, become corrupt and degenerate, morally corrupt, and covered his ears and stolen bells, and after the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party, he did not stop, did not restrain himself, and did not accept his hands; his behavior seriously violated the party's discipline, which constituted a violation of the law of his post and was suspected of committing a crime, which was of a bad nature and serious circumstances, and should be dealt with severely. In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Government Sanctions for Public Employees," and other relevant provisions, after being studied by the Standing Committee of the Jilin Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission and reported to the Jilin Provincial CPC Committee for approval, it was decided to give Zhang He the punishment of expulsion from the party; the Jilin Provincial Supervision Commission should give him the punishment of expulsion from public office; the confiscation of his gains from violating discipline and the law; and the transfer of his suspected crimes to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution according to law, and the property involved was transferred with the case.
