The Big River Drama "The Book of Righteousness" starring Hideaki Longze
In 2005, Japan's NHK television broadcast of the Ōkawa drama "Yijing" starring Hideaki Ryuzawa and Rimi Ishihara. It tells the story of The Magnificent but Short Life of the Yuan Yi Jing. Yijing was born, his father was killed, his mother married an enemy, he became a monk at a young age, and according to legend, he was taught the art of war by tengu, rebelled against the army, made many military achievements, was used by the emperor, was suspected by his father and brother, fled Oshu, and committed suicide in defeat. Yoshikei and his brother Lai Chao were originally still in love with each other, but the turning point in Yoshikei's life was when he entered Kyoto and accepted the reward of Emperor Go-Shirakawa without authorization, and from then on the two brothers gradually drifted apart until they turned against each other. Why the brothers look at each other, let's take a look at the life of the Righteous Scriptures.
At the end of the twelfth century, a great scuffle between two major samurai groups broke out in Japan, known in history as the "Battle of Genpei". "Combined warfare" can refer to either a battle or a war. Led by genji from the Kanto dynasty, Genji fought westward from the Kanto region, occupied Kyoto, and drove the Hira clan to the west of China (Japanese Chinese refers to San'in and Sanyo provinces, and now the 5 prefectures west of Honshu Island). The Hei clan gathered their forces, and 100,000 troops were stationed in Ichinaya, a fortress close to Kyoto, to prepare for a counterattack. With its back to the sea, Ichinomiya is easy to defend and difficult to attack. Genji, like a fish in his throat, also sent a large army to attack, but was defeated, and the commander Gen fan lai was almost captured. Seeing that the Genji army was completely destroyed, and suddenly Heishi was attacked behind his back, Genji's army seemed to fall from the sky, and Heishi won and lost. Ping's main force was annihilated, and the hope of a counterattack was completely lost. The strange soldier behind it was arranged by the strategy of The Source Yijing. It can be said that the "Genpei Battle" relies entirely on gen's yoshikei's schemes to win. Yijing was later known as the "Judge of Guro".
The Book of Righteousness
Genyoshi is ranked ninth, so it is "Guro" and "Judge" is his official position.
Yoshikei was born just in time for the Hei clan to gain power, and Hira Kiyomori killed his father, genji leader Gen-yoshi, and exiled his half-brother Genrai-chao. Hira Kiyomori took advantage of his mother Tokiwa when he saw her beautiful appearance and forced the seven-year-old Yoshikei to become a monk. According to legend, when he was eleven years old at the temple, he received tengu's teachings on the art of war and learned about his lineage. Later, Yoshinori traveled to Kyoto and defeated and subdued the warrior Musashi Bankei

At that time, Japan was already occupied by the Hei clan, and the "Tale of Peace" recorded: "(Ping Clan) one door, the secretary of state sixteen, more than thirty people in the palace, the kingdom of the received, the weifu, the various divisions of a total of more than sixty people, is really rare in the world." The high-ranking official positions monopolized by the nobility became the exclusive official positions of the Ping clan, and the old nobles were of course dissatisfied. The emperor and the emperor have become puppets, and they are naturally dissatisfied. The Jade Leaf Volume 35 records: "The ascension of the heart is excessively honored, and the crown of the ancient and the modern is the best." "For Hei's old enemy Genji, he is even more repressive, and the Genji clan is even more dissatisfied. Emperor Houbaihe took the initiative to become a monk in order to regain his power and was called "Emperor Of France". Go-Shirakawa's second son, King In-in, issued an edict from Genji's other great chieftain, Genkai, to the various places, asking samurai to raise troops to serve the king.
Yuan Yijing's half-brother, the exiled Yuan Lai Dynasty, was the most excited. The "Azuma Mirror Seongji 4th April 9th" records the psychology of the Lai Dynasty: he believed that "the Pyeong clan (Ping clan) can command the world". After receiving the support of the Hojo clan in exile, he rebelled. Fujikawa won a great victory over the Japanese Dynasty. The Lai Dynasty intended to march into Kyoto on the basis of stabilizing the Kanto. During the retreat, Genyoshi joined the forces of the Lai Dynasty and brought with him the support of Oshu's guardian Fujiwara Hideyoshi. The two met each other, long time away from relatives, hugging headaches and crying. Yoshinori regrets not being able to participate in the Battle of Fujigawa. At that time, the Lai Dynasty was suffering from two fronts, and there was no one more trustworthy in the chaotic world than his brothers. Therefore, he entrusted the heavy task of conquest of the Hei clan to Yijing, and he returned to the Kwantung base area to operate and solicit the restless forces in the Kwantung region.

Another anti-peace activist is Gen Yoshinaka, also known as Kiso Yoshinaka. Although they are both Genji and are cousins, he has a vendetta against the Genrai dynasty and the Yoshikei family. Genyoshi Naka fought from east to west in northern Honshu, breaking the Hei clan at Noto Kingdom and capturing Kyoto.
At that time, the emperor was a decoration, and Emperor Go-Shirakawa was the actual political monarch of Japan. He knew how to maintain imperial power and use them in addition to suppressing these "hillbillys". On the one hand, it is a generous reward for the source of Righteousness. On the one hand, the French Emperor was full of disgust for Yuan Yizhong. In addition, "Not a single person below the former Minister of the Interior, nor one house such as Rokuboro and Nishihachi, was reduced to ashes." "No matter how much it is, it is not too expensive, it is taken." (Yuye Scroll 38) Genyoshi Zhong indulged his subordinates in burning and looting in Kyoto. This caused dissatisfaction among the French Imperial Secretaries. Taking advantage of Gen's departure from Kyoto to fight the Hei clan to the west, the Emperor entangled the monks and soldiers to occupy Kyoto and prevent Genyoshi From returning. Enraged, Genyoshi attacked Kyoto, forcing the imperial court to appoint himself a general and make gendai an enemy of the whole country. Watching Zhongyuan Lai Chao could not sit still, he immediately sent his half-brother Yuan Fan Lai as the main and Yuan Yijing as the deputy to send troops to Kyoto. Genyoshi used a surprising plan to cross the Uji River with a radical method, and this battle defeated Genyoshi Zhong. His brother Gen-Fan-lai was just an ordinary man, and was trapped in Seta until the news of Ujigawa's defeat came, and Gen-Yoshi-jon took the initiative to retreat, but was surrounded by Gen-Fan-lai and lost to death in Otsu. At the same time, Genyoshikei captured Kyoto.
The Book of Righteousness in Battle
Taking advantage of the Genji civil unrest in the west, the Hei clan gathered all their forces to fight back in Ichinoya. Not only does genji occupy a favorable position, but genji is a tired division after a long battle, and the commander Genfan Lai is an ordinary person, and it is very difficult to attack the battle in Ichinoya, and Genpei fights on the east and west sides of Ichinoya. Yijing was familiar with the Chinese art of war, knew how to use the strategy, led 300 warriors to cross the cliff behind the Ichino Valley, and finally reached the battlefield with more than 70 people, directly attacking the Ichino Valley, the defenders and leaders in the fortress thought that the Genji army had broken through the eastern and western positions, and each of them competed for their lives. The samurai on the front line soon learned of the escape of the leaders, "losing the battle, or riding their horses out of Ichino valley, or dropping ships to the land of Shikoku." ("Azuma Mirror Yongshou 3rd Year February") A war concerning the fate of the two families was thus won by the Righteous Scriptures.
When Genji returned to Kyoto, the French Emperor personally enfeoffed Genji as an envoy who was equivalent to a judge during the Tang Dynasty, so he was called "Judge Of Kuro".
On the basis that the demise of the Ping clan was only a matter of time, the contradiction between the French Emperor and the YuanLai Dynasty finally broke out. The French Emperor was originally a repetitive villain, and in order to maintain his position, he provoked a chaotic battle at Genping; one side gained power, and then provoked civil unrest on the other side. The first one was Yuan Yizhong. Later, the Emperor of France fell in love with the Yuan YiJing.
The Yuan Lai Dynasty also knew that the Emperor was capricious, so it was necessary to stabilize its position before the common enemy, the Ping Clan, was completely destroyed. For this reason, he ordered Yijing not to continue to attack the Pingshi. Through coercion and inducement, he not only obtained the empty title of General of Zhengyi, but also firmly controlled all the samurai, land, and taxes in the Kanto region, and then opened a government and established his own political foundation.
At this time, there was only one goal, to completely destroy the Ping clan and wash away the shame of his father's murder, without realizing that the Emperor's plot was moving closer to him. The Yijing did not understand why the elder brother did not allow himself to destroy the enemy, and according to the unstoppable Yijing, he took the most foolish method and asked the Emperor for advice. After the Battle of Yashima and the Battle of Tanpo, the Hei clan was completely destroyed.
The Sutra of Righteousness Wearing Armor
At this time, there was a saying circulating in the world, "Judge Guro is really rare in talent, what can Kamakura's second (referring to the Genrai Dynasty) do, and it is good for the judge to plan the affairs of the world." This rumor reached the ears of the YuanLai Dynasty, who was also a blood relative of the Genji Clan, and the Lai Dynasty was originally jealous of the Yijing Gong Gao Zhen Lord. Kajihara Jing, who had a vendetta against the Yuan Yijing, added oil and vinegar to frame the Yijing for rebellion. Lai Chao was even more frightened. Lai Dynasty, on the pretext of accepting the official position of emperor without the orders of the martial leaders, sent people to assassinate the Yijing, "The feelings of flesh and blood compatriots are like emptiness." ("Azuma Mirror Bunji First Year May 24") The brothers are completely opposed. Yoshikei also guarded the reputation of the samurai, believing that the eldest husband should be clean and self-righteous, and even if he died and the family was destroyed, his reputation should not be damaged, so Yoshikei did not occupy Kyoto to rebel, but fled to Oshu and defected to his old friend Fujiwara Hidehiro. Fujiwara Hideyoshi firmly refused Genrai's order to hand over Gen's Yoshikei. However, after fujiwara Hidehiro's death, Fujiwara Hidehiro's son did not dare to make enemies of the shogunate, and sent heavy troops to surround Yoshikei, who saw that the trend had gone, killed his wife and children, and committed suicide by cutting his abdomen.
Yi Jing loves concubines in front of the imperial court
Genyoshi was one of Japan's few military geniuses. He was wise and courageous, undefeated in his life, and the eight jumps in the Battle of Tanpo (in the Battle of Tanpo, the Hei clan sharpshooter aimed at Yoshikei, and Yoshikei jumped over eight ships in a row to avoid enemy sniping), which is still talked about by the Japanese, but he is a political fool. Emperor Houbaihe first took advantage of his vengeful heart to act as a pawn to destroy the Ping clan. Regardless of the timing, he could not understand his brother's arrangement, and then he was suspected by his brother. He had no choice but to write a confession, but this was completely silverless practice here.
He only had the honor, mission, and responsibility of the samurai in his mind, that is, to learn martial arts and martial arts in order to avenge his family, and for the sake of blood family affection, even if his brother sent someone to assassinate him, he refused to rebel against his brother and had to escape from Ozhou. When he arrived in Oshu and trusted his friend too much, Fujiwara Hidehiro did not kill him, and instructed his son to protect Yoshikei well. The Yijing did not expand its power in Austria at this time. Times were different, the Kamakura shogunate rule was completely secure, the emperor's court had to respect the shogunate, not to mention a small divided regime, Fujiwara Hideyoshi's son suddenly turned his face, he had no power to fight back, and finally ended up committing suicide. Not dying on the battlefield can be described as samurai sadness.
