About persistence, love and the story behind it
Teacher Li Jinshan entered the work of Sheng Xifu in 1974, and at the age of 19, he officially formed an indissoluble relationship with Fur. From the consistency of the thickness and density required by the work, to the flexible application of various knife methods such as herringbone knives, crescent knives, ladder knives, arc knives, fish scale knives, etc. when cutting fur, as well as the round top, eating the head evenly, the seam evenly, the skin surface to be sewn to the seam, the cross flat, the hook fan, the cap, the string mouth, etc., this process, one step at a time, is decades of perseverance, in order to create so many exquisite works.
In Teacher Li's professional experience, there is such a special experience, that is, to restore a Qing Dynasty imperial robe for the Palace Museum. The costumes of the emperors of the Qing Dynasty were divided into xia dynasty crowns and winter dynasty crowns, and the leather parts of the imperial robes, such as the edges, collar horns, and horseshoe sleeves, were furs, and the material used was called "sea dragon", which was the best leather that could be found in the world today. This Winter Dynasty crown that needs to be repaired was worn by the Jiaqing Emperor that year, when the hair had fallen to the skin surface, and it was very difficult to repair. In order to achieve the repair of the old as old, starting from the selection of materials with the skin, Teacher Li has been handy one by one, carefully selected, and it is very difficult to find the "sea dragon skin", not to mention that it is necessary to find the same color as the year, the thickness of the pile, the hair needle and other details of the same sea dragon skin, the time and effort spent in the middle can not be described only with simple words. Kung Fu pays off, and because of Teacher Li's superb skills, the restoration of this dragon robe was successfully completed after 8 months of careful repair, and this dragon robe was also restored from a national second-class cultural relic before restoration, and became a national first-class cultural relic after restoration.
