The Wuxi County Chamber of Commerce, formerly known as the Sikkim Chamber of Commerce, was founded in 1905 by the famous industrialists Zhou Shunqing, Zhu Dachun and others, and is located in the triangle of Taiping Lane and Hanchang Road in the front and back. The old site has two two-storey buildings in front and back, and the front building (Building 1) is five rooms wide, 22 meters long and 8 meters wide. The Chamber of Commerce was appointed by Zhou Shunqing as the first prime minister. The Chamber of Commerce played an active role in the Xinhai Revolution, warlord scuffles, and the approaching liberation. He is one of the first county-level chambers of commerce established in China. The old site building is well preserved and is a representative building of Wuxi's modern national industrial and commercial development.
