On November 10th, dongguan's first batch of "Happy Crew Cabins" were unveiled at Guangdong COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry and Shenchiwan Wharf. Xu Guosheng, chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Seamen's Union, and Yang Wen, deputy director of the Guangdong Maritime Safety Bureau, jointly unveiled the two "Happy Crew Cabins", and leaders of Dongguan Maritime Safety Bureau, Dongguan Federation of Trade Unions, Guangdong COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry, Shenchiwan Port and other units attended the event.

"The completion of the 'Happy Crew Cabin' allows us to return to our 'second home' after landing, in which we can read, watch movies, exercise, sing, surf the Internet, learn the party's guidelines and policies, and mental health counseling, covering almost all the needs of our crew." Lin Ping, chief engineer of Dongguan Haichang Shipping Co., Ltd., spoke to the crew.

According to reports, under the guidance of the Guangdong Provincial Seamen's Union and the Guangdong Maritime Safety Bureau, the Dongguan Maritime Safety Bureau adheres to the concept of "rooted in Dongguan and serving the society" and promotes the landing of the two "huts". In order to improve the efficiency of the use of the hut, especially during the new crown pneumonia epidemic, many crew members can not go ashore, the construction of the "Happy Crew Cabin" is as much as possible with the port enterprise's "staff home", port shore welfare facilities, water safety supervision and other functions, to maximize the use of existing resources, to avoid waste.

In addition to the functional areas such as leisure and entertainment area, Internet surfing area, reading and learning area, fitness and sports area, the "Happy Crew Cabin" unveiled and put into use this time also has a party building learning garden, a maritime government affairs publicity corner, and a knowledge bulletin board for seamen's unions, where the crew can exercise, play ball, play chess, drink tea, study, and surf the Internet.
