On February 21, 1936, the Bailing Temple Uprising broke out, and the main leader of this uprising was Comrade Ulanfu, and the main reason for the uprising was because the German king, under the control of Japan, actually held the inauguration ceremony of the puppet Mongolian Army General Headquarters and openly defected to Japan.
Not long after the Bailing Temple uprising, the troops were surrounded by the Kuomintang, fortunately, the people of the whole country immediately began to denounce them with all their might, and forced the Nationalist government to reorganize them into the Mongolian Flag Security Corps, and then the leader of the uprising, Ulan Fu, became the director of the political department and the secretary of the CPC Committee, and since then this unit has also become one of our Chinese anti-Japanese national armed forces.
Comrade Ulan Fu is definitely an outstanding leader of our party and state, a long-tested communist fighter, and has also served as an important leader for a long time after the founding of New China.
Born in Inner Mongolia, Ulanf studied at the Peking Mongolian-Tibetan School in his early years, that is when he successfully joined the Chinese Socialist Youth League, after all, China at that time was fragmented, and the life of the people was really poor, Inner Mongolia was also in great chaos, in those years, Ulanf was also suffering from various harms, so Ulanfu vowed to find a way to save his country when he was very young.
Two years later, he transferred to the Communist Party of China, and because of his outstanding ability, he was arranged by our party to study at Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow, the Soviet Union, not long after. After Ulan Fu returned to China, he chose to go to his hometown to work, and indeed returned to his hometown to work smoothly, after all, this is the area he is most familiar with, and soon he has already done the revolutionary work in full swing.
At that time, the most powerful in Inner Mongolia was undoubtedly the Dewang, but what he did not expect was that later the Japanese wanted to win him over, and the Dewang actually began to undermine the reunification of the motherland at the instigation of the Japanese, such an act was naturally absolutely impermissible, which was also the reason for the outbreak of the Bailing Temple Uprising later.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Comrade Ulanfu successively served as chairman of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region Government, chief of education of the Yan'an Institute for Nationalities, and alternate member of the Seventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
After the founding of New China, Comrade Ulanfu successively served as secretary of the Inner Mongolia Branch of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Government, commander and political commissar of the Inner Mongolia Military Region, and since 1954, he has been vice premier of the State Council, and then he has served as an alternate member of the Eighth Politburo of the Central Committee, a member of the Tenth Central Committee, and was elected vice president of the People's Republic of China at the Sixth National People's Congress.
The children of Comrade Ulanfu are also extremely brilliant, of which the eldest son is Buhe, who was born in 1926 and studied in Yan'an North Public School, Yan'an Nationalities College, Yan'an University Nationalities College, etc. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he also continued to work for the construction of new China, and later became vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Eighth and Ninth National People's Congresses.
The third son is Wu Jie, born in 1935, graduated from the Department of Engineering Physics of the Leningrad Institute of Chemical Engineering in the Soviet Union, and later held many important positions, such as mayor of Baotou City, vice governor of Shanxi Province, etc., and he was also an adjunct professor at 16 universities such as Peking University and Fudan University.
