The National Team Olympic team will visit Hong Kong for three days from Next Friday (3-5 December) for sport demonstrations and performances.
When meeting with the media before attending the Executive Council on November 23, Carrie Lam, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, said that she was pleased that the General Administration of Sport of the People's Republic of China accepted the invitation of the Hong Kong SAR government to arrange for the athletes of the national team to participate in the Tokyo Olympic Games to visit Hong Kong from December 3 to 5.
Carrie Lam said that the national team athletes visiting Hong Kong are from 12 sports events, and 30 are expected, including "100-meter flyer" Su Bingtian and Tokyo Olympic table tennis gold medalist Ma Long. She stressed that the Tokyo Olympic national team achieved very good results, and the Hong Kong team of China also achieved the best results in history, and believed that the visit of the national Olympic athletes to Hong Kong will arouse a warm response.

Carrie Lam said that since the return of Hong Kong, after each Olympic Games, national gold medal athletes have visited Hong Kong to share with Hong Kong citizens the process of participating in the Olympic Games and the joy of winning awards, so that Hong Kong citizens are proud of the country's good results.

The Mainland Olympic athletes' delegation will attend the "Olympic Athletes Showcase" demonstration event from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on 4 December (Saturday) to meet with the Hong Kong public.
Athletes will be divided into two groups, demonstrating badminton, fencing, gymnastics and table tennis at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium and diving and swimming at the Victoria Park Swimming Pool.
From 17:00 to 18:30 on 4 December, the "Olympic Athletes Parade" variety show will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, where Hong Kong citizens can catch a glimpse of mainland athletes.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's three performances of the Sports Demonstration and Grand Show have a total of about 5,300 tickets, which will be put on sale on 26 November. The conference will also arrange for television stations to broadcast it, so that the public can watch it at home.
