In order to further safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of minors, strengthen minors' concept of the rule of law, and promote the in-depth publicity of the Law on the Protection of Minors and the Law on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency, Yao Tao, secretary of the party leading group and chief procurator of the Chaoyang Municipal Procuratorate, recently walked into chaoyang No. 1 Senior High School and gave a profound interpretation of the "two laws" for the students under the theme of "Persisting in Co-governance and Protecting the Healthy Growth of Minors according to Law".
Liu Haiyun, secretary of the Municipal Youth League Committee, Zhang Yadong, chairman of the Municipal Women's Federation, Zhang Xingyou, deputy director of the Municipal Education Bureau, attended the lecture, and Li Tiesong, principal of the Municipal No. 1 Senior High School, presided over the activity.
Starting from the real cases handled by the procuratorial organs, Yao Tao expounded the main contents of family protection, school protection, social protection, network protection, government protection, and judicial protection; explained in a simple and concise manner the provisions of the newly revised "Law on the Protection of Minors" and the "Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency Law" on the responsibility for juvenile guardianship, the qualification review system for industries with close contact with minors, and the compulsory reporting system; and clarified the procuratorial organs' supervisory position and work responsibilities in the mechanism for the protection of minors. Through this lecture, the students further understood the scope of minors' legitimate rights and interests and the methods and channels for safeguarding their rights, so as to better abide by the law and abide by the law in their study and life, and improve their ability to use legal weapons to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.
This lecture is a positive measure to implement the special action of the Supreme People's Procuratorate to "inspect and love peers and protect the future together".
