The new generation GS8 is the first high-end SUV under the GPMA architecture. GPMA GAC Global Platform Modular Architecture is a platform modular architecture developed by GAC for the world's major automotive markets, which lasted for several years and was led by masters with many years of development experience, covering cars, SUVs, MPVs and compatible with fuel, HEV, PHEV, 48V light mixing systems. The GPMA architecture includes two sub-platforms, R and L, and the new generation of GS8 was born on the L platform.
From the perspective of styling design, the new generation of GS8 has already won, it also conforms to the trend of using dual-style front face modeling, the most obvious is the difference between the grille, and named the "Spread Wing" grille and the "Dragon Scale Wing" grille, you can also distinguish between the fuel version and the hybrid version through it.
