Someone sent a blade to Carrie Lam, the Chief Executive's Office: solemn condemnation, must be serious follow-up

According to the News Network of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government on December 13, the headquarters of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government received a letter to Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor on the same day on the 13th, with a blade attached to the letter, and the content of the letter was threatening. The Chief Executive's Office issued a statement condemning the intimidation in question.

During a routine inspection of the received mail this morning, personnel at the HKSAR Government Headquarters found the above-mentioned threatening emails. The relevant personnel have been alarmed for handling.

The Chief Executive's Office stated that Hong Kong is a society ruled by law and will never tolerate violence, intimidation and other illegal acts, and that if anyone attempts to influence the Chief Executive or other public officials to perform their duties by illegal means, the SAR Government will certainly follow up seriously, bring the lawless to justice, and ensure the safety and social tranquility of public officials.
