In order to find out the true identity of the casino owner, the police carried out an investigation around the gambling-related ex-offenders according to the clues provided by the informant, obtained important clues, and confirmed the true identity of the casino owner after investigation and judgment.

After investigation, the police found that most of the casino organizers were ex-convicts, who had been cracked down on by the public security organs many times and had a strong sense of anti-investigation. The gang chose the casino in remote areas such as wilderness woods and demolished houses, replaced the gambling dens before each gamble, and set up a number of open and dark sentries around the casino and at various intersections to let the wind blow, and immediately fled when there was a slight wind and grass.

It has been learned that since the beginning of this year, the Changfeng County Public Security Bureau, in accordance with the arrangements of the Anhui Provincial Department and the Hefei Municipal Bureau for cracking down on and rectifying illegal crimes involving pornography and gambling, has taken the crackdown on underground mobile casinos and the "broken chain operation" as the carrier, regarded the case as a key target, and set up a special case team to fully investigate and handle the case. After intensive and meticulous investigation in the early stage, the special case team formulated a "no-scene crackdown" plan based on the characteristics of the case, and in the early morning of October 20, the Changfeng police organized more than 80 police forces to carry out network collection in Hefei City, Huainan City, Changfeng County and other places, and successfully arrested 22 backbone personnel of the casino.

After investigation, Xiong X, Lu X, Zhou X, Zhang X and other people living in the north city of Hefei have obtained compensation and real estate due to land requisition and demolition, and they have no worries about food and clothing on weekdays, and they are idle, and in order to seek excitement, Xiong X and others have been involved in gambling for a long time. Since January this year, in order to obtain high returns, Xiong and others have gathered a group of idle people with previous social records to open casinos in Hefei Xinzhan District, Feidong County, Changfeng County and other places, illegally profiting more than two million yuan. At present, the police have taken criminal compulsory measures against 29 people, found more than 15 million yuan of gambling funds, frozen funds of 1.74 million yuan, and seized 5 vehicles, and the case is under further investigation.
