On December 21, citing Bloomberg's Mark Gurman's latest "Power On" column, he firmly believes that Apple is developing a new external display for Macs. He thinks the new display will be relatively affordable and will be aimed at users who want a bigger screen for the new MacBook Pro, rather than those who are as expensive as the Pro Display XDR and are only for professional creators.
In fact, since Apple launched the Pro Display XDR in 2019, its production, parts, manufacturing and other costs may have declined, through some product parameters on the adjustment and provide a smaller screen size, Gurman believes that Apple can provide similar quality and slightly smaller display at about half the price, to know that the current official starting price of Pro Display XDR is 39999 yuan.
Earlier, LG had oem two sizes of displays for Apple, the 27-inch LG UltraFine 5K and the 21-inch LG UltraFine 4K, although these two displays did not have any "fruity taste", but from the overall design, as well as the color performance after connecting the Mac, it is the product on the opposite side of Apple.
Mark Gurman also mentioned that LG is currently developing three displays based on the current Pro Display XDR and iMac dimensions, but it is not known whether these three displays are still Apple's "overwatch" OEM LG or whether they are apple's "youth version" Pro Display XDR.
But judging from the size of these screens (24, 27 and 32 inches), in addition to the first two sizes and iMac Pro are consistent, 27 and 32 inches models may support mini LED backlighting and 120Hz refresh rates to complete support for this year and even the future MacBook family product line.
