Live Bar December 25, according to a previous report, sources revealed that the Lakers plan to use difficult exceptions to sign a 10-day contract with guard Darren Collison and forward Stanley Johnson.
According to sources, Collison is expected to play in the Christmas game against the Nets on the 26th. Collison recently trained with the team at the Lakers Training Center.
Collison, 32, is the 21st pick in 2009, averaged 12.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 5 assists, 1.2 steals per game in the NBA career, and tried out for the Warriors and Lakers in the offseason; in the 18-19 season, Collison played 76 games for the Pacers, averaging 28.2 minutes per game, 11.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 6 assists and 1.4 steals, and 40.7% from three-point range.
