In addition to the most peculiar new shape, Sanxingdui No. 8 pit also has a new "maximum". The reporter learned from the archaeological team that as of now, 42 bronze heads have been found in Pit 8. According to experts, these bronze heads that have been exposed are not only numerous, but also rich and diverse in shape, both domed and flat-topped hairstyles in hairstyles, and both hairpins and hairpins on hair ornaments, almost covering all the shapes of the bronze heads of Sanxingdui that are now known.
