On June 27th, sponsored by the Taiyuan Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics, Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology, Taiyuan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, and Jinyang Ancient City Archaeological Museum, the "Wonderful Hands - Li Xiating Archaeological Drawing Exhibition, Liang Ziming Archaeological Photography Exhibition" opened in the second exhibition hall of the West District of Jinyang Ancient City Archaeological Museum, and the exhibition will last until November. Liu Yuwei, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau, attended the meeting, and Cao Weiming, member of the Party Group of the Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau and Director of the Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Research Institute, delivered a speech.
A total of 87 works are exhibited in this exhibition, involving the Houma Tomb, the Houma Jin Ruins, the Taiyuan Northern Qi Lourui Tomb, the Quwo Jin Marquis Cemetery and other sites, covering archaeological sites, remains, artifacts and other aspects, showing the main achievements of Shanxi archaeological mapping and archaeological photography and the ups and downs of the older generation of archaeologists, and presenting the persistent pursuit and archaeological feelings of the older generation of archaeologists represented by Mr. Li Xiating and Liang Ziming.
Archaeological photography and archaeological mapping have accompanied archaeology in China for 100 years, and countless archaeologists have worked hard to gather light and shadow with shutters and films, and recreate history with brushes and tools. Mr. Li Xiating and Mr. Liang Ziming are the predecessors and experts in archaeological mapping and archaeological photography in our province, who have witnessed the development achievements of archaeology in our province with brushes and lenses, and have made outstanding contributions to the archaeological cause of Shanxi.

As the 101st museum in Taiyuan, the Jinyang Ancient City Archaeological Museum excavates the inheritance genes and elements of China's excellent traditional culture from the physical samples of "national security", and uses digital technology to create a number of immersive experience scenes, aiming to make cultural relics more "fresh and touchable", better play the museum's functions of protection, inheritance, research, education, and display, and constantly enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the people.
