Specifically, he believes that intelligent transportation will be a major change that will affect the next 10-40 years, so that China's first-tier cities will no longer need to limit purchases and traffic within 5 years, and basically solve the problem of congestion within 10 years. He believes that intelligent transportation can solve three major problems: First, reduce road safety accidents by 90%. Second, the system solves the congestion problem. Third, autonomous driving and intelligent transportation can help reduce carbon emissions.

The data shows that 94% of traffic accidents are caused by human factors, and autonomous driving will eliminate human factors. As technology matures, autonomous driving will be safer than human drivers. The intelligent road system is achieving unimpeded traffic through vehicle-road coordination. Experimental data prove that when all intersections in a city are intelligent and city-level regional information control optimization, the traffic efficiency can be improved by 15%-30%.

On the same day, Robin Li also introduced the AIR (AI Road) intelligent road system. As a soft and hardware road end "automatic driving system", AIR intelligent road system through the "God perspective" real-time collaborative perception of all objects, the intersection pass rate increased to 99%, to achieve real-time road full of dangerous events, wide reach early warning, collaborative active operation management, effectively reduce 90% of traffic accidents.

At present, the AIR intelligent road system has realized the real-time optimization of "city-level" information control at more than 2,000 intersections across the country. Taking Baoding, Hebei Province, as an example, through the deployment of the AIR intelligent road system, the average annual growth of motor vehicles in the core area of Baoding in the past two years has been 7%, but the congestion index has dropped by 6% through the optimization of information control in some road sections.
