As an important cultural event during the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, from January 6 to February 18, the "Meet in Beijing" Olympic Cultural Festival and the 22nd "Meet in Beijing" International Arts Festival will arrive as scheduled.

This year's festival will create a strong atmosphere for the Winter Olympics through five major sections: performing arts, visual arts, film screenings, urban activities and celebrations. Among them, the performing arts section will include "opening ceremony performances", "charm of China", "colorful world", "light up youth", "industry focus" and other content, in the form of "online + offline", to provide the audience with nearly 100 performances from 22 countries and regions, as well as art forums and performance promotion meetings.

On January 6, 2022, as the opening ceremony of this year's art festival, the "We See You in Beijing" large-scale comprehensive literary and art evening will be passionately staged at Tianqiao Art Center. At the end of the performance, the Olympic champion and the actors will sing the promotion song "See You in Beijing" for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The "Charming China" section, which focuses on Chinese elements, will once again let the world appreciate the profundity and unique charm of China's excellent traditional culture. At that time, domestic high-quality dramas will be staged online and offline in turn. At the same time, the outstanding art groups of jilin, Shanghai, Hebei, Beijing and Qinghai provinces (cities) held an online Winter Olympics theme "Provincial (City) Cultural Week" through online exhibition + offline display and performance of excellent programs, showing the artistic characteristics of the province (city) and the charm of ice and snow culture.

The "Colorful World" section is dominated by international high-quality plays, and a number of foreign masterpieces will be unveiled in the form of high-definition screenings at the Beijing Tianqiao Art Center, and online wonderful performances such as Irish tap dance, Polish orchestra, Japanese traditional taiko drums, and Russian ballet will also be broadcast on the mainstream platform.

In addition, this year's art festival "Light up youth" section to help teenagers thrive under the inspiration of the spirit of the Winter Olympics. The "Industry Spotlight" section will hold a "Art to the Future" theme forum and performance promotion meeting at the Beijing Intermediate Theater from January 14 to 16.
