Shanghai Lingang New Area issued regulations on the construction and operation of hydrogen refueling stations to promote the development of the hydrogen fuel industry

A few days ago, the Management Committee of Lingang New Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone issued a notice on "Several Regulations on the Construction and Operation of Fuel Cell Vehicle Hydrogen Refueling Stations in Lingang New Area (Trial)" to encourage the intensive use of hydrogen refueling station construction land.

Under the premise of conforming to the special plan for the layout of hydrogen refueling stations in the new area, support the legal construction of automobile gas stations and gas stations to use existing land to build hydrogen refueling stations; in bus stations, airports and ports, logistics parks and industrial parks, enterprises can use transportation facilities, industry, warehousing and other own land to build hydrogen refueling stations, and handle relevant procedures in accordance with the law. The newly added hydrogen station land is supplied by public bidding, auction and listing, of which the relocation of hydrogen refueling station land can be approved by the project issued by the economic information department, and the transferee is clarified, and the land is provided in the form of directional listing.

In October this year, Lingang New Area compiled the "Lingang New Area Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2025)". The "Plan" proposes that by 2025, the scale of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle industry in Lingang New Area will exceed 20 billion yuan; more than 5 hydrogen fuel vehicle parts enterprises with international influence will be introduced; and 1,500 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will be promoted and applied, and the number of hydrogen refueling stations will reach 14.
