Shanxi Museum's Jinguo hegemony, how strong Shanxi was in ancient times, come here to see

There are many exquisite historical relics in the Shanxi Museum, among which we saw a lot of bronzes in the Jinguo Hegemony Exhibition

Since the 1950s, a large number of precious cultural relics from the early Western Zhou Dynasty to the early Spring and Autumn Period have been produced. Hongdong County was Yang County in the Han Dynasty, and the Book of Han Geography of Hedong County was quoted as Yang County, yang county, or "Yang HouGuo", that is, the Yang State in the "Chinese Zheng Dialect" "Huo Yang, Wei, Rui", was destroyed by the Jin State in the Spring and Autumn Period.

In the middle of the Spring and Autumn Period, the northern power Jin and the southern power Chu competed for hegemony. In the spring of 632 BC, Jin and Chu faced off against Chengpu (near Yicheng, Shandong). The Jin army was personally commanded by Jin Wengong and formed a four-nation alliance with Qi, Song, and Qin; the commander of the Chu army was Ziyu, who formed a five-nation alliance with Chen, Cai, Zheng, and Xu. At the beginning of the war, the friendly forces of jin did not participate in the battle, and the Jin army fought alone with the armies of Chu, Chen, and Cai. When Duke Wen of Jin was exiled to the State of Chu, he was treated with courtesy by the King of Chu and promised him that if the two countries fought in the future, the State of Jin would first retreat to sanshe (one house was thirty miles). At this time, facing the vigorous Chu army, the Jin army avoided its lock, really retreated, not only fulfilled the promise of that year, but also lured the enemy to go deeper, and won the initiative on the battlefield. Then, he concentrated superior forces, avoided real attacks, and defeated the Chu army, creating a famous battle example of winning more with less. After the war, the countries of the Central Plains broke away from the control of the Chu state and submitted to the Jin state. In May of the same year, Duke Wen of Jin was at the Battle of Jianshi (present-day Xingyang, Henan). King Xiang of Zhou gave him a bow horse, and He ordered Duke Wen of Jin to be the leader of the princes, "Hou Bo", who could be used in the name of the king to conquer the four sides. Since then, the Jin Dynasty has dominated the Central Plains for nearly a hundred years.
