However, Xie Fang only entered the Eighth Route Army at the beginning of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and his seniority in the army was too shallow, and the four generals were gathered, and the internal competition was also quite fierce, and in the end Xie Fang was only awarded the rank of major general, which was indeed low, but being able to rank first as a major general was also a compensation to a certain extent.
The sixth is Liao Hansheng. Liao Hansheng's position in the army and He Bingyan are the same level, a military commander and a political commissar, the 52-year rank evaluation is even higher than He Bingyan, Liao Hansheng is the deputy corps level, He Bingyan is only the rank of the quasi-corps, but He Bingyan is a general, Liao Hansheng is only awarded lieutenant general, why is this?
