Everyone should abide by the law of life, link the fate of the individual to the fate of the nation, and place the survival of the individual in the survival of the group. - Barkin
In recent years, many spy dramas have been fired, such as "The Pretender", "Red" and "Latent", and the anti-war drama focuses on the frontline fighters, unlike the spy drama, which depicts more agents in the rear, although they are not as dangerous as in the first battlefield, but the lives of agents can also be said to be tightrope, and one who is accidentally exposed will die. Both front-line fighters and rear agents are our national heroes. The protagonist today, Xiao Minghua, is such an underground party worker lurking in Taiwan, although little known, he has also made his own contribution to the motherland.
The old man in the family is just beginning to appear
Xiao Minghua was born in Zhejiang in 1922, is the old man of the family, there are 4 older brothers and sisters on it, not only the palm pearl of his parents, but also the treasure of his brothers and sisters. The Xiao family was in business, so Xiao Minghua's childhood was worry-free, but with the spread of the war, the family's business could not continue, and the family was forced to move to Henan to make a living.
When the claws of the Japanese army reached Henan, Xiao Minghua's family had to be displaced again and moved to Chongqing to avoid the war. In Chongqing, they obtained a relatively stable life, and Xiao Minghua was successfully admitted to Chongqing Normal School. At the time of graduation, when the official vigorously promoted the Chinese phonetic symbols, Xiao Minghua came to Beiping Normal School to study, which also laid a solid foundation for her subsequent underground work.
She was talented and had excellent grades, and finally obtained a graduation certificate at Beiping Normal University, which is the predecessor of the current Beijing Normal University, so Xiao Minghua was also known as "Sister Jiang of Beishi University". After completing her school studies, she worked in Beijing and met Zhu Fangchun, a professor of pedagogical psychology. Under the recommendation of Zhu Fangchun, Xiao Minghua resolutely became an underground party member, embarked on the revolutionary road with the idea of giving everything for the party and the people, and was ready to sacrifice his life for the revolutionary cause at any time.
By chance, he went to Taiwan
After the outbreak of the civil war, the People's Liberation Army was in a state of flux, and finally the Nationalist government had to retreat to Taiwan, and since then the Taiwan issue has become a topic of concern for every Chinese. In 1948, because of her outstanding personal ability, National Taiwan University threw an olive branch to her, and Tai Jingnong, who was then the head of the Department of Chinese Literature, recommended her to teach in Taiwan. This is really stepping on the iron shoes nowhere to find, it takes no effort at all, the impenetrable Taiwan itself showed flaws, Xiao Minghua reported to the organization, after applying, bid farewell to his parents, and went to Taiwan alone.
At that time, her parents did not know that their daughter was actually a secret agent, and thought that they were just going to teach in a distant place, and it would be difficult to meet in the future, but they did not expect that this last side was a farewell, Xiao Minghua died in Taiwan, and never returned home. After coming to Taiwan, Xiao Minghua first taught Chinese at Taiwan Normal School and later worked as an editor at a newspaper. After gaining a foothold, she used her work to meet a wide variety of people, including many celebrities, and thus gathered a lot of important intelligence. Subsequently, the guide of her revolutionary road, Zhu Fangchun, alias Yu Fei, also came to Taiwan, and the two men fought side by side, cooperated with each other, and passed on intelligence.
Pretending to be a husband and wife, leading the way
After Yu Fei came to Taiwan, he often needed to have secret contact with Xiao Minghua, which was very inconvenient for a long time, and in order to work, the party organization let two people pretend to be married. However, Yu Fei had long been married in the mainland, and his wife was still Yu Fei's friend, so the two were very hesitant. Under the persuasion of their comrades-in-arms, the two people held a wedding and a wedding banquet in public, and from then on they acted in the form of a fake couple. They developed offline personnel in the form of lectures and cultivated the patriotism of young people, forming the "Taiwan New Democratic Youth Alliance", which later developed and expanded 21, which was very influential at that time.
With the firm belief of "reunifying the motherland," Yu Fei and Xiao Minghua carried out a great deal of work. According to statistics, there are hundreds of secret intelligence transmitted back to the mainland through them, about 85,000 words, including geological maps and other special secrets, which have made outstanding contributions to combat deployment. In 1949, the Nationalist government moved the capital to Taiwan, and intelligence work reached a bottleneck. In 1950, the situation became increasingly tense, and the nationalist government authorities had become suspicious of Xiao Minghua and Yu Fei.
The first temptation was to send plainclothes policemen to the door, but fortunately Xiao Minghua had already prepared, and under her astute response, Yu Fei successfully escaped. On the same day, some comrades-in-arms heard about this incident and advised her to go out to avoid the wind, but she put the overall situation first, responded to changes with no change, and used her own security to confuse the enemy.
Jailed, calm
Unfortunately, because Cai Xiaoqian, the top leader of Taiwan's underground party, was arrested and betrayed, and confessed to more than 400 of his intelligence agents, The underground work in Taiwan fell into darkness. Xiao Minghua was also arrested late three nights after the first visit of plainclothes policemen, and in the face of the vicious national government running dogs, she calmly made the last request and put on the cheongsam hanging by the window, which was also an alarm signal she and her colleagues agreed to, and the disappearance of the cheongsam meant that she had been arrested.
Subsequently, Xiao Minghua was imprisoned in the "Security Headquarters Security Department" and spent 278 nightmarish days in his cell. According to her handwritten diary in prison, she suffered inhuman torture in prison, with scaly wounds all over her body and multiple fractures.
The coercors even forced her to stay awake for five days and five nights in a vain attempt to break her self-control and take advantage of the situation to gain information. Because he witnessed Xiao Minghua being tortured every day, a handyman in the security department even resigned, while Xiao Minghua withstood all the hardships with his steely will, and the enemy never obtained useful information.
See death as a homecoming, and the name will live on forever
Just like that, a few months passed, and the national government officials who wanted to pry open Xiao Minghua's mouth were completely desperate and decided to execute her. Before the execution, Xiao Minghua took out the small wooden comb given by her mother, asked her colleagues and sisters to help her comb her hair, and changed into clean clothes, still retaining her dignity before she died. On the execution ground, she refused to kneel, shouted "Long live our party" and was shot, and Xiao Minghua, who was only 28 years old, ended her life in this way, facing the west in a pool of blood, and still staring at the mainland of the motherland after death.
It was not until after Xiao Minghua's sacrifice that she was posthumously recognized as a party member and a revolutionary martyr, and her family understood the responsibility and burden on Xiao Minghua. Although Xiao Minghua wrote in her suicide note that she did not need to bring her ashes back to the mainland, everyone still could not bear that she was alone in Taiwan. After Xiao Minghua's sacrifice 32 years, her remains were sent to the Babaoshan Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery in Beijing for burial, and her life and deeds were not written on the tombstone.
On the front is "Tomb of Martyr Xiao Minghua", and on the back is only the three big characters of comrade-in-arms Yu Feiti, "Return to Xi". These three words are worth a thousand words, and people are sighing. For the sake of the country and the nation, Xiao Minghua and her comrades-in-arms paid the price of their lives, but they can only be known after death, more unsung heroes are not known to the public even if they are sacrificed, and what they have exchanged for a lifetime of obscurity is the peace and tranquility of the country, and now people will always miss these heroes!
