On January 5, ZTE announced that SGS CSTC Standard Technical Services Co., Ltd. recently issued an ISO 26262 ASIL-D automotive functional safety product certification certificate to ZTE automotive operating system GoldenOS microkernel products.

According to ZTE, this certification is the highest level of certification in the industry, marking that ZTE's automotive operating system has been able to fully support the most stringent security scenarios in the automotive industry.

As early as 2015, ZTE began to start the research and development of automotive operating systems, including microkernels, virtualization, and Linux, covering all scenarios of intelligent car control, intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, and intelligent networking. In addition, ZTE also has a layout in terms of in-vehicle chips and SOA basic software.

Recently, ZTE announced the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Neusoft Ruichi, the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation based on the operating system kernel and AUTOSAR AP/CP and other fields, and will also work together with chip partners to promote the establishment of a domestic high-performance automotive electronics ecological alliance to accelerate the development and application of domestic automotive operating systems and mature landing.
