From 1636, when Emperor Taiji changed the name of the country to Daqing, to the abdication of the late emperor Puyi in 1912, the Qing Dynasty lasted for 276 years and passed on a total of twelve emperors. To say that the most accomplished and famous one is probably none other than Kangxi, who reigned for 61 years as the longest reigning emperor in Chinese history, during which he worked hard to maintain the unity of the country and created a precedent for the prosperous era of Kang Yongqian, which is called "the first emperor of the ages" by many scholars.
During the 61 years of Kangxi's reign, there have been many famous historical events, the most interesting of which is the "Nine Sons and Nine Sons" incident, the so-called Nine Sons of the Nine Sons vying for the crown prince, Kangxi had a total of 55 children in his lifetime, including 35 sons and 20 daughters.
These 55 children were born by Kangxi's 17 wives, strictly speaking, they should be called concubines, of which the Rong concubine today gave birth to a total of 5 sons and a daughter for Kangxi, which was the most fertile of Kangxi's many concubines, and in the early kangxi, the most favored concubine was also Rongfei Majia.
Historical records record that Ma Jiashi was only ten years old when he first entered the palace, and such an age could not serve the emperor, so he lived in the imperial palace, which according to the saying at that time should be called "staying in the palace".
At that time, Kangxi's age was not very old, the two were both husband and wife and green plum bamboo horses, so the two had a very good relationship, and Kangxi would come to Ma Jiashi to talk to him if he was upset about handling the government.
Perhaps it is precisely because of Kangxi's attention that even Empress Xiaozhuang attaches great importance to the Ma Jia clan, and often summons the Ma Jia clan to talk about her heart, which is very trusting.
On September 20, the sixth year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1667), ma Jia gave birth to kangxi's first son, Chengrui, when the Kangxi Emperor was only fourteen years old. However, the child died of illness at the age of three, and in the tenth year of Kangxi (1671), Ma Jiashi again gave birth to the fourth son of Kangxi, Saiyin Chahun, and in the twelfth year of Kangxi (1673), he gave birth to a third daughter, Princess Gulun Rongxian.
From the twelfth to the sixteenth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, Ma Jia gave birth to a crown princess almost every year, and because of this, Ma Jia was crowned as a rong concubine, one of the seven concubines in the first great seal harem, and in the twentieth year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1681), he was promoted to the title of rong concubine, ranking one of the four concubines.
From the sixth year of Kangxi to the sixteenth year of Kangxi, six children were born for Kangxi in ten years, which can also be seen that Kangxi's grace for Ma Jia's family was heavy, but unfortunately, only two of the six children born to Ma Jia survived, namely Yin Zhi and Princess Gulun Rongxian.
After experiencing the pain of losing his son four times, Ma Jiashi also saw through many things, and did not like the harem intrigue, and as he grew older, Ma Jiashi gradually lost the favor of Kangxi. However, what made Ma Jia's position plummet was a secret message left to her by Empress Xiaozhuang, and many scholars believe that Ma Jia's disclosure of this secret was the most serious mistake.
This secret decree was left by the empress dowager to prevent Kangxi from deposing the crown prince, and Ma Jia's disclosure of this secret decree was undoubtedly against Kangxi, so Kangxi was furious, not only abolishing the crown prince And thus triggering the seizure of the nine sons, but also reducing Concubine Rong to a palace maid who washed the toilet. Later, Princess Gulun Rongxian, who was married to the Bahrain Department of Southern Mongolia, returned home to visit her relatives, and Kangxi remembered her old love and restored the status of Princess Rong of the Majia clan.
