Although PS5 consoles have set a record in terms of sales, it is an indisputable fact that game consoles are out of stock. In addition, while PS5 released some PS5 first-party games early in its release, it has been calm in recent months. Then, this phenomenon seems to be broken quickly.
Jim Ryan, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, announced at CES 2022 that 17 studios are currently making PS5 first-party games. Among the 17 studios is Nixxes Software, a manufacturer that specializes in porting PC games. According to Jim Ryan, Nixxes Software will be responsible for porting PS games to PC. It remains to be seen whether the studio will have its own original games or simply assist Sony in porting PCs.
Earlier, official Jim Ryan said that PS studios are currently developing 25 PS5 exclusive games, half of which are new IPs, and look forward to Sony's release of more information.
