According to the British "Daily Mail" reported on January 5, Italy's most wanted criminal Gioacchino Gammino was found and captured by the police on Google Street View after 20 years on the run. Gamino, 61, was reportedly sentenced to life in prison for murder in Italy in 1989 and fled to Spain in 2002 after escaping from a prison in Rome.

Italian police stumbled upon a man standing in front of a small shop looking like Gamino on Google Street View, and then police identified Gamino through a unique scar on his chin in other photos. When the Spanish police came to arrest him on December 17, 2021, Garmino still wondered with a confused face: "How did you find me, I haven't called home in ten years."
