Panel factory Group Chuang (7) announced last year (2021) December revenue, single-month revenue slightly fell to 26.521 billion yuan (NT$, the same below), monthly decrease of 0.3%, annual decrease of 1.8%, the fourth quarter revenue reached 79.917 billion yuan, quarterly decrease of 14.1%, annual increase of 2.4%, the cumulative last year's annual revenue reached 350.077 billion yuan, an annual increase of 29.7%, a new high in the past six years.
In terms of shipments, Innolux's large-size shipments in December reached 12.11 million pieces, an increase of 1.9% per month, and small and medium-sized shipments reached 29.61 million pieces, an increase of 6% per month; statistics showed that large-size shipments in the fourth quarter were 36.02 million pieces, a quarterly decrease of 5.1%, and the combined shipments of small and medium-sized sizes were 82.13 million pieces, a quarterly decrease of 3.6%.
The cumulative large-size consolidated shipments last year reached 148.38 million pieces, an annual increase of 11%, and the small and medium-sized sizes shipped 331.58 million pieces last year, an annual increase of 13.7%.
Innolux pointed out that the overall panel demand still maintains high-end, but last November and December the supply chain faced logistics, lack of materials, causing a certain degree of impact on shipments, but compared with the previous months, the situation continued to improve in a positive direction, looking forward to next year, it is believed that the visibility of short-term consumer products is low, but the demand for industrial, commercial, and vehicle-mounted products is relatively stable, and the visibility is better than that of consumer products.
In terms of panel prices, the market research agency Jibang's Witsview announced the panel quotation in early January, and the decline of the TV panel continued to converge across the board, of which the price of the 32-inch, 43-inch small and medium-sized TV panel maintained the level at the end of last month, and the decline of 55 and 65 inches was less than 2%, the smallest in the past six months, and the first quarter could be expected.
The decline in IT panels such as laptops and displays has entered the off-season with the industry, coupled with the previous decline, the recent decline has slowly expanded.
