Yasukuni Shrine is a place we often hear about, and it was first dedicated to soldiers killed in the Meiji Restoration, and after Japan's surrender in World War II in 1945, the spiritual seats of 14 Class-A war criminals, war criminals of the war invading China, and war criminals of the Pacific War were also placed here.
Yasukuni Shrine has become a place that Chinese hates because it enshrines war criminals, but many Chinese only know that war criminals are enshrined here, and they don't know that there are 3 Chinese, as for which 3 Chinese, you will know it by looking down.
Chiang Kai-shek
After Chiang Kai-shek was driven to Taiwan, in exchange for Japan's support for his international status, he adopted a policy of "repaying grievances with virtue", and on April 8, 1952, he announced that he would renounce Japan's war reparations. At that time, Japan, as the initiator of the war, wanted to pay reparations to the victimized countries, which was a large debt, which could crush them to the point that they could not be turned over, and Chiang Kai-shek gave up their compensation, which relieved them a lot of pressure, and they were glad that it was too late, and in order to thank Chiang Kai-shek, they enshrined Chiang Kai-shek at the Yasukuni Shrine.
Xu Fu
Xu Fu was a disciple of Oniguzi, proficient in navigation, astronomy, and medicine, and was sent to the sea by Qin Shi Huang to find elixirs. According to the history books, Xu Fu could find the elixir as long as he found the three immortal islands of Penglai, Abbot, and Yingzhou, but Xu Fu did not find it twice.
In 210 BC, Xu Fu went to the sea for the third time to find medicine, and he knew that qin shi huang would kill him if he could not find the medicine this time, so he took three thousand good men and women to Japan, and never returned to the Qin Dynasty.
At that time, Japan was far less developed than the Qin Dynasty, and basically no one developed, So Xu Fu went there and sowed the seeds he brought into the fields to teach the locals to cultivate the land, and taught the locals skills such as fishing, medicine, chemistry, and craftsmen.
The arrival of Xu Fu promoted the development of Japan, and in order to prevent the pursuit of the Qin Dynasty, he changed his 7 sons to Japanese surnames, Fukushima, Fukuda... Coincidentally, many of the place names in Japan now happen to be the surnames of Xu Fu's sons, making the current Japanese people think that they are Xu Fu's descendants, and in order to commemorate the place where he first landed in Japan, he erected a monument of "The Land of The Alchemist Xu Fu", and put Xu Fu into the Yasukuni Shrine to be enshrined.
Lin Jingyin
Every year on April 19, Yasukuni Shrine hosts the Mango Festival, which commemorates Hayashi Junin, who brought steamed buns to Japan. Lin Jingyin was a member of the Yuan Dynasty, and in 1350 he went to Japan with the famous Japanese monk Long Shande, and when he arrived in Japan, he found that there was nothing to eat here, so he made steamed buns with his own noodles, and in order to meet the local taste, he also added Japanese-flavored beans to the steamed buns.
He shared the prepared steamed buns with the Japanese people to taste, the Japanese for the first time to eat this delicious and satisfying food is very fond of, the emperor in the palace heard that there is a very delicious food in the folk, also wanted to taste a bite, so let people buy and bring in.
The emperor took a bite and felt that Lin Jing rewarded the palace maid to be his wife because the steamed bun was worthy of the name, And Lin Jingyin passed on the technique of making steamed buns to his wife and children, and 8 years later, Lin Jingyin remembered his hometown and abandoned his wife and children to return to China alone.
Lin Jingyin's wife and children waited for him to return while making steamed buns, but Lin Jingyin never returned for the rest of his life. In order to thank Hayashi for bringing such delicious food to Japan, Japan also put him in the Yasukuni Shrine for worship.
In order to show their benevolent and generous side, they also built sculptures and monuments for Xu Fu, and held a steamed bun festival for Lin Jingyin, but they did not admit or apologize for their bad side, and I really hope that the Japanese will recognize the facts as soon as possible and apologize for the country they have hurt.
