On the afternoon of January 10, 2022, in order to strengthen the construction of the Chinese women's volleyball team, successfully complete the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, the 2022 World Championships, the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and plan to organize the selection of a new national women's volleyball head coach, the Volleyball Sports Management Center of the State General Administration of Sport issued an announcement on the selection of the national women's volleyball head coach.
The State General Administration of Sport attaches great importance to the selection and recruitment of the head coach of the new Chinese women's volleyball team, saying that the guiding ideology of this selection is: adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of speeches and instructions on sports work, especially the "three balls" work. On the basis of comprehensively and deeply summarizing the preparation work for the Tokyo Olympic Games, we insist on carrying forward democracy, seeking truth from facts, and insist on open, fair and just selection of a new national women's volleyball head coach who can lead the Chinese women's volleyball team to achieve better results and inherit and carry forward the spirit of the women's volleyball team in the new era.
In order to carry out the selection process objectively and fairly, the Platoon Management Center announced the leading group for the selection of leading groups and expert group members. The platoon management center announced the conditions and requirements for the selection of head coaches: 1. Excellent political quality. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, love the party and the country, adhere to the interests of the party and the country above all else; have a strong sense of responsibility and mission, can fully practice and inherit the spirit of the women's volleyball team in the new era; have a high professional ethics, have a strong ideological style, a good mental outlook; and good health. 2. Strong business ability. Strict management team, pay attention to team building, dare to train strictly, strict management; have rich coaching experience and good coaching results; understand the current situation and development trend of international women's volleyball; be familiar with the situation of domestic women's volleyball players, have a clear team idea; pay attention to high-level composite team building, can effectively play and use the characteristics and expertise of different members of the coaching team; good at summarizing training and participation. 3. Training ideas are clear. Be able to fully implement the scientific training policy of "three from one"; be able to grasp the law of national team training and participation, be good at organizing training work, have rich training methods and means, and effectively mobilize the enthusiasm of athletes in training; attach importance to physical training and scientific training, and have a full understanding of the basic role and importance of physical training.
At the same time, the drainage center announced the selection and recruitment procedures. First, publish the announcement of selection and employment. The announcement of the selection of the head coach of the national women's volleyball team was released on the official website of the Chinese Volleyball Association. Second, accept registration. Applicants for the selection shall send the application form as an attachment to the designated mailbox or fax before January 18, 2022. Third, determine the candidates. According to the selection conditions and requirements, the expert group put forward 2 to 3 candidates, and after comprehensive review by the selection and recruitment work leading group, the list of candidates for the head coach of the national women's volleyball team was determined. Fourth, the list of candidates is submitted to the Party Committee of the Platoon Management Center for study and determines the candidates to be hired as head coaches. Fifth, it will be announced after submission for approval. The proposed head coach candidate shall be announced to the public after approval by the State General Administration of Sport. The selection and recruitment work is subject to social supervision throughout the process, and the platoon management center has published the contact information of the State General Administration of Sport for appeals and reports.
As a result, the Chinese women's volleyball team has officially entered the countdown, and it is expected that before the Spring Festival in 2022, a new Chinese women's volleyball head coach will be born, and the national team coaching team, as well as the Chinese women's volleyball team training list, will be announced to the public, officially opening the cycle journey of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
