Sichuan Xingjing is from Tan Qichen, the elder of Xinhai

Tan Qichen (1881-1941), also known as Qiantao, was born into an intellectual family in Qinghua Lane (formerly known as Pawnshop Lane, the department store gate to Jinyu Square, 108 lines from jinyu square) in Xingjing County, Sichuan Province. In his early years, he studied at the public Sichuan University, and after graduation, he traveled to Japan to study law and politics, and studied practical subjects, graduating in two years. In 1905, he joined the League in Tokyo with the aim of "overthrowing the Manchu Qing and establishing a republic". He believed in Mr. Zhongshan's Three People's Principles, and at the same time accepted socialist ideas and translated the book "The Essence of Socialism".

In 1909, Tan Qichen returned to China and went to Shaanxi with Xie Zhi, a member of the Chinese Revolutionary Party (later secretary general of the The President of the Republic of China Government), to teach at the Xi'an Normal School. When teaching, they often attacked the dictatorship and advocated revolution, and most of the students were moved and influenced, and the new army joined the League day by day, which was deeply hated by the people in power in Xi'an. Later, he transferred to the Lanzhou Normal School to teach, took the opportunity to cultivate revolutionary forces, and organized the "Qianshi Book Society" to transfer Shanghai's new ideological trends of books to open up the atmosphere, Qin Zhonglong Right, people with anti-feudal dynasty hearts.

After the victory of the Wuchang Uprising, the whole country responded, and the remnants of the Qing court in Gansu still struggled to resist. On March 11, 1912, in the face of the frenzied suppression of chang geng, the governor of Gansu, Tan Qichen, together with the revolutionaries Huang Yu and others, secretly held an uprising in Qinzhou (today's Water) in Gansu. Tan Qichen and others organized more than 300 workers to capture the Governor's Mansion of Qinzhou, declared the independence of Gansu Province, broke away from the Qing government, supported the Xinhai Revolution, and were elected as the Governor of Qinzhou. On the day of righteousness, we will defend the Ordnance Bureau, not afraid of danger, and command if it is determined. Soon the Hui (ethnic) army attacked the city, the momentum was fierce, Tan ventured forward, Xiao Yi was righteous, the Hui army retreated, and then, the Lanzhou bureaucracy was forced to declare independence in view of the surging tide of revolution throughout the country and the threat of the Qinzhou revolution. Tan actively negotiated, and finally enabled the governments of Shaanxi and Gansu to be peacefully merged, and the revolutionary banner was planted in the northwest. After that, Tan Qichen was ordered to return to Sichuan and served as the head of the Sichuan branch of the Kuomintang and the chief writer of the Sichuan Minbao. Because of his sharp writing and daring to pinpoint the shortcomings of the times, he is known as "Tan Chuang Wang".

Yuan Shikai stole the fruits of the victory of the Xinhai Revolution, and Tan Qichen was arrested and imprisoned by Yuan's agent Hu Jingyi in Sichuan because of his active opposition, and was later rescued by comrades and spared from suffering. After being released from prison, he continued to oppose Yuan, and in order to avoid Shikai's other minions, Chen Eunuch (Er'an), he offered a reward for arrest and ran away from northern Sichuan. Later, he wrote an article exhorting Chen to become independent. On the one hand, together with the party member Wang Jingcheng and his fifth brother Tan Qixun, he organized the people in northern Sichuan, besieged the Beiyang Army, captured countless guns and bullets, and established a military government to protect the country and rebel against the Tongchuan.

In 1918, Xiong Kewu, commander-in-chief of the Jingguo Army in Sichuan, appointed Tan Qichen as his secretary. The following year, he was elected as a member of the Sichuan Provincial Assembly. If there is a mistake in words, people will be cursed...". It was adopted as a teaching material by the chengdu secondary school at that time.

In 1922, Tan Qichen was appointed as the general office of the Training Office of the Eastern Sichuan Border Defense Army. After Chiang Kai-shek came to power, he belonged to the anti-Chiang kai-shek faction and was idle at home. When he lived in Guihua Lane in Chengdu, Xingjing Traveling Rong's students often went to ask him to teach ancient Chinese and instruct him to study. In June 1940, the first Provisional Senate of Xikang Province was established, and Tan Qichen served as the speaker of the parliament.

In May 1941, the chairman of the Kuomintang Xikang Provincial Party Department coldly exposed that Dong Fengzhao went to Chongqing to report for duty. On July 28, when the eastern part of the province was coldly exposed, all the members and officers of the provincial party department set up a banquet at the social service office outside the east gate of Kangding City (now the address of the Ganzi Prefecture Cultural and Labor Troupe) to wash the dust cold. It was late after the banquet, and Tan Qichen, together with Liu Jingzhi, Yan Zenan, Fang Xingcheng, and other members of the provincial party department, bid farewell and coldly exposed the east and returned to the apartment. Liu and the others lived in the provincial party department, and Tan lived in the Zi'erpo Senate, and when they reached the lower bridge, they broke up with Liu and others and returned to Zi'erpo alone. At that time, the river road in Kangding City had just been demolished, the embankment had not yet been built, the guardrail had not been built, and there was no street lamp, and Tan accidentally lost his footing and fell into the rapidly flowing folded river. Liu Jingzhi and the others walked not far away, and overheard a cry for help behind them, that is, a loud cry for Tan, and no one responded. Liu and others shouted along the river while sending people to the police station to call the police. When Police Chief Xiao Shaocheng heard the news, he immediately personally led all the police officers to search and rescue along the river, and organized the city's volunteer firefighters to assist in the salvage. Half a month later, Fang found the body in the lower gas ditch river. The body was transported back to Kangding, and the provincial government immediately held a solemn memorial service for it. Tan's body was buried in a thick coffin by the province and transported back to Xingjing for burial. Dai Jitao, president of the Examination Institute of the National Government, heard his bad news, and in a letter to his brother Tan Qizhen, he said that Tan Qichen was "loyal and pure in his heart, held a humble and honest manner, went deep into Qin Long, stirred up the wind, returned to Chuankang, led the party and government, zen and wisdom, knew the secret voice, merited in the country, and huiliu Sangzi, and had good and good." The Nationalist government issued a "commendation order" to "publicize his life deeds to the National History Museum." ”
