Live bar Jan. 13 , The Kings will play the Lakers at home today. Ahead of the game, Kings head coach Gentry said team center Holmes would be absent from today's game.

"Holmes needs to go to the Development League for training to get back to form due to an eye injury and having just lifted a health and safety agreement." Gentry said.

So far this season, Holmes has averaged 26.1 minutes per game, 12.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.04 blocks.
