Tom Mainelli, vice president of IDC's Devices & Consumer Research Group, said: "The challenging logistics and transportation environment coupled with the ongoing supply shortage means that PC shipments could have been higher in 2021. At the end of 2021, there are still many buyers and consumers waiting for their PC orders to ship. As we enter the first half of 2022, we expect supply to continue to be constrained, especially in the business sectors with the strongest demand. ”
