In the first year of Tianfu (936), Shi Jingyao, known as Emperor Er, gave the Sixteen Prefectures of Yanyun to the Khitans, and the following year the Khitan renamed one of the places Nanjing. After the loss of Yanyun Sixteen Prefectures, there was no defensive barrier on the back, which provided good convenient conditions for the southern invasion of the northern pastoral horses in the future. But today, without talking about this, I want to talk about the city that was renamed Nanjing, a place that could have been called an official's nightmare before. Only 4 of the 28 people in office can safely leave, and the city is called Youzhou.
This is also the former Yan land, in the Warring States period, along with the other six kingdoms of the Yan kingdom is here. After Qin Shi Huang unified the Six Kingdoms, he adopted the county system, and in the Western Han Dynasty. Although Han Gaozu said that he had overthrown the regime established by the Qin Dynasty, the various systems of the Qin Dynasty continued, and he set up Zhuo County here. It changed its name several times in history, but in the Sui and Tang dynasties, its military status began to stand out, and the Sui Emperor also set up Linshuo Palace as a palace in Zhuo County.
The three times Goguryeo used troops seven years later to use this place as a base to gather soldiers, horses, weapons, grain and grass, and it was obvious that its status was also relatively important. Goguryeo was on its side at the time, and during the Zhenguan period, the Tang Dynasty continued to send troops to Goguryeo, also with Youzhou as its base camp. In the second year of the First Heaven (713), the Tang Dynasty set up the Youzhou Jiedushi here in an attempt to control the Khitan and other tribes. However, almost every Youzhou Jiedushi did not end up with a good ending, and it later changed its name to Fanyang Jiedushi.
For this name should still be relatively familiar, caused by the decline of the Tang Dynasty An Shi rebellion leader An Lushan had this identity when he rebelled. And this official position was not stopped until the five generations of hebei were divided. An Lushan was proclaimed emperor, and naturally would no longer serve as the envoy of Youzhou Jiedushi, so this official was given to Shi Siming. Everyone knows an lushan's fate, killed by his son An Qingxu, Shi Siming's fate is also not good, he was also murdered by his own son.
After the Anshi Rebellion, youzhou Jiedushi had a new title, that is, Lulong Jiedushi. Because the imperial court was unable to pursue An Shi's judges, this position was once again given to Li Huaixian, an old subordinate of An Shi. This person did not live long, first encountering the rebellion of the servant Gu Huai'en, and then encountering Zhu Zhu, and the safe abdication was not necessary to think. After his death, he was succeeded by Zhu Xicai, one of the enemies, and the imperial court had no choice but to acquiesce. Similarly, he was murdered a few years after his tenure.
In the seventh year of the Gregorian calendar (772), Zhu Tao's younger brother Zhu Tao instigated the generals to preach that the position of emissary of Jiedu should be held by Zhu Zhu. The imperial court could only agree, and later the position of Jiedushi became Zhu Taolai to sit, because Zhu Zhu rebelled. The imperial court was incompetent, but there were still soldiers who could fight, and Zhu Zhu was killed. Zhu Tao died of depression after surrendering, and after his death, his sons and grandsons successively ascended to this position, but unfortunately, his grandson ended up being betrayed.
The ensuing emissaries can be said to have never been at peace, either betrayed by their relatives or murdered by their subordinates. From the end of An Lushan to the end of the Tang Dynasty, a total of 28 knots were experienced, and only 4 died well. These 4 are Liu Xun, Zhang Zhongwu, Zhang Yunshen, and Li Maoxun. This position can be called the official cemetery of the Tang Dynasty, mainly because of the frequent military chaos, which led to the change of jiedushi always.
In the more than one hundred and fifty years of partition, there have been 24 riots in one place in Youzhou, and ambitions have made everyone in office want to get rights, and chaos has occurred. In those one hundred and fifty years, betrayal and betrayal were really common things in Youzhou Jiedushi. On the contrary, the prosperity here is because it is a major town, and the turmoil is also because it is an important town, which can be said to be military and defeated. Youzhou is now Hebei, Tianjin, and Liaoning, and Beijing has become an international metropolis.
