Zhang Chunru has a good family, her parents are highly educated people, and they are both doctors from prestigious universities, and before she was born, the family moved to the United States. But the trip also had great gains, Zhang Chunru obtained the relevant records of the Nanjing Massacre before the female teacher's death, from which he could learn the details of the brutality of the Japanese at that time.
When Zhang Chunru read this, her heart was extremely painful, she could not imagine that the Japanese were so cruel, and even wanted to deny the historical facts, which made her indignant. Later, she compiled these materials and published the book "Nanjing Atrocities: The Forgotten Massacre", which caused a sensation in the world as soon as it came out, and was translated into many languages and widely circulated, making her famous.
But at the same time, Zhang Chunru was threatened and retaliated against by the Japanese, and later she suffered from depression, and in order to relieve the pain, in 2004, at the age of 36, she decisively ended her life, leaving the whole world to indulge in the grief of losing her, but except for Japan.
