According to the news, when passengers lose or do not carry their ID cards, they can submit an electronic temporary ride identity certificate application online on the 12306 mobile APP, and after passing, they can complete business services such as ticket purchase, refund, change, station entry, and ticket inspection at the station.

The specific way to handle the temporary electronic identity certificate is: log in to the 12306 mobile APP click [More], find the [Warm Service] column click [Temporary Identity Certificate], enter the function page, enter the name, certificate number, if the user is in the login state, it will automatically fill in the current registered user information, the information can also be manually modified, and the city information is automatically filled according to the positioning. After entering the above information, follow the prompts for face verification.
Previously, the temporary identification of the passenger had to carry the relevant certification letter to the railway public security office of the station.
According to the "Travel Guide" column of the 12306 official website, when passengers are unable to present valid documents when purchasing tickets, after purchasing tickets, or before boarding due to reasons such as not carrying or losing valid identity documents, they can go to the railway public security certificate of the station to apply for temporary identification certificates for taking passenger trains. When handling the case, one of the following conditions must be met: a letter of household registration certificate from the public security organ where the student passenger is located; a letter of certification from the school where the student passenger is located; a letter of certification issued by the unit in active service of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the Armed Police Force; a letter of certification issued by the foreign tourist holding a certificate issued by the local embassy or consulate; a passenger who purchases a ticket with other valid documents holds a letter issued by the issuing department; and a certificate issued by the issuing department can prove his identity through other means.
