Sun Hongyi, who once worshiped Feng Yuxiang and became a friend of Mo Rebellion. When he was young, the official luck was prosperous, and he was supported all the way, and the official was at least a military attaché. However, due to the defeat of the Great Wall War, Sun Hongyi was secretly surrendered by Chiang Kai-shek, stripped of his military power, and appointed as a lieutenant general in the Nanjing Military Senate. Since then, Sun Hongyi has begun a legendary life from a general to a business tycoon to a monk in Lushan.
1. Commander-in-Chief Zhu De sent ten miles away
In the late autumn of the Taihang Mountains, the cold is compelling, and the dim lights reveal a hint of coldness. In a cave at the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army, Commander-in-Chief Zhu De was talking in secret with a guest from Chongqing. They talked about the night from noon, from international to domestic, from north China to northern Shaanxi, from military to political.
The guest from Chongqing, named Sun Hongyi, was entrusted by Li Jishen to contact Zhu De as a member of the North China Party and Government Committee. At this time, Sun Hongyi was over 60 years old, but his waist was straight, his voice was loud, and he was not an old man at all.
Zhu De said: "The Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army of our army is on the edge of Yu'e, and it is very difficult to supply or weapons, especially medicine. If General Sun could abandon the errands of the 'Party and Government Branch' and mediate with the Japanese army, it would certainly be of great benefit to the Fifth Division. Of course, it depends on General Sun..." Commander-in-Chief Zhu De stared at Sun Hongyi.
Sun Hongyi said very frankly: "As long as it is beneficial to the Chinese nation, I can do anything." The commander-in-chief knows to me that he always wants to be too happy when doing things, and he does not love indecision, so he lets me go to the anti-Japanese war, and if I go to the soup and fight the fire, if I go to be a traitor, and hold a gun and a knife against my compatriots, this is absolutely difficult to follow. ”
Zhu De said: "This is to endure humiliation and bear the burden, and history has its own commentary."
Sun Hongyi said: "If you do not hold a pseudo-post, you can be a pseudo-businessman, which will certainly be helpful to the needs of the Fifth Division." ”
Zhu De said emotionally: "It is precious. Just, be more careful. When the trip will take place, I will make arrangements for the general, including contact with the underground party organization in central Hubei..."
The next day, Sun Hongyi said goodbye to Zhu De, and Commander-in-Chief Zhu De rode with him for 10 miles before returning to the headquarters.
2. Cooperate with Anan
There was a reason the Kuomintang had chosen Sun Hongyi to go to Wuhan, which was occupied by the Japanese army. At this time, Lieutenant General Anan Wei, commander of the Japanese Eleventh Command in Wuhan, met Sun Hongyi when he was serving as a military attaché at the Beijing consulate.
It is very fateful that Anan's Japanese wife and Sun Hongyi's wife look very similar, from the appearance, like a pair of sisters, the relationship between the two is also very good, they are married as sisters, and make an appointment, married as a doll, Anan and Sun Hongyi are also married to Jinlan. Later, Sun Hongyi was infertile and could not marry Anan Wei, but the friendship between the two has always been very good.
At the end of 1940, Sun Hongyi wrote a letter to Anan Weiji in Wuhan, "Brother Anan wei: After ten years of separation, is it okay?" The vicissitudes of the world, the memory of friendship is getting worse and worse. He has no interest in politics or military affairs, and now he is sick and thinking about the field. Would you like to meet? ...... Sun Hongyi"
Anan is the only one
Anan, the highest official in Wuhan, immediately replied: Pan Laihan. Anan was also a sentimental man, and when the Hiroshima Maru arrived at the Jianghanguan pier, he and a welcoming party of more than 10 people had been waiting there for a long time.
The welcome banquet was held in Janssen Garden, where the wine was drunk with a thousand glasses of confidant, and the two of them drank and chatted together, reminiscing about their previous days in Beijing. Sun Hongyi congratulated Anan on his promotion to commander of the dispatched army, and Anan regretted Sun's future and fate.
In the end, Anan asked Sun Hongyi to organize a puppet army and do things for the Japanese. Sun Hongyi said: "This time I turned to my old friend, just to have a chance to make money, accumulate money, in order to spend the old age in peace, there is no other plan." ”
Moreover, Sun Hongyi directly proposed to Anan that the profits obtained would be shared between the two. Sun Hongyi's request did not arouse Anan's vigilance, because Sun, as an empty general, came to him and wanted to earn a sum of money for the elderly, which was also reasonable.
Anand understood the spirit, immediately summoned the aide-de-camp, and handed Sun Hongyi a piece of paper covered with the Japanese Military Headquarters in Wuhan.
This blue faction division, which is not an ordinary faction division, can not only pass through the General Headquarters of the Chinese Dispatch Army of the Japanese Army in Hankou, but also pass unimpeded in xinyang, Yingcheng, Anlu, Yuezhou, Yichang, Nanchang, Jiujiang, Shashi, Xianning, Danyang and other Japanese military defense areas. In the Wuhan area, only a few Japanese generals and military officers had them, and they were only used for special missions. The two clasped their hands again, smiled, and Wishing you prosperity.
3. Be the transport brigade commander of the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army
Sun Hongyi, with the support of Anan, established the "Hongyi Company", which was specifically responsible for the salt business in the occupied areas. The company's strength is very strong, the cars transporting salt are provided by the Japanese army, spray paint, covered with the Japanese military insignia, plus the word "Hongyi Company"; the ships transporting salt in the Hanshui and Yangtze River areas are all hung with the flag of "Hongyi Company".
Sun Hongyi's business mainly consisted of the occupied areas along the Yangtze River, which later developed into parts of the Xiang River and the upper reaches of the Han River. At that time, the occupied areas could be said to be "Jinyan Dan Valley", and Sun Hongyi was exclusively operated, so Japanese bills and silver dollars rolled in.
Sun Hongyi soon became a business tycoon in Wuhan, the entire Wuhan political and business circles are very much to give him face, his residence has anti-bandit and anti-theft facilities, day and night there are Japanese gendarmes guarding, wherever he goes there are motorcycles to open the road, simply become Wuhan's "pseudo business hegemony." Where the "Hongyi" ships and vehicles were intercepted, Sun Hongyi's boss only needed a phone call, reported the dispatch number, and immediately released them.
In fact, the "pseudo-businessman" is only the superficial identity of Sun Hongyi, and he also has a secret task, that is, he is responsible for providing the necessary materials for the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army and other guerrilla troops who insist on resisting the war in the occupied areas.
In Wuhan, there are often "squires" who come to the door and carry two bottles of Yellow Crane Tower Fenjiu to meet the boss of "Hongyi". With only a few code words, Sun Hongyi understood the spirit and immediately introduced the inner chamber to discuss "business" matters.
After the "squire" left, within a few days, Hongyi's group of salt boats sailed along the Yangtze River to various places.
Li Xiannian, Chen Shaomin, and Zheng Wei, who were stationed in Jingshan, sent three people to Hankou to thank them. Of course, it is still the "squire" who comes to deliver the wine.
In this way, Sun Hongyi hid the medicines, radio stations, ammunition, rice, and other materials needed by the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army and the guerrillas in various localities in salt bags, loaded them on the "Hongyi" boat, and secretly transported them to the joint site, thus alleviating the material difficulties of the anti-Japanese armed forces in various localities.
In 1943, Anan left office and was succeeded by Naozaburo Okabe. Before leaving, Anan said to Okabe, in Hankou, my only Chinese friend is Sun Hongyi, please pay more attention.
Anan was gone, and of course he also took away a lot of hongyi's wealth. With the changes in the situation of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the general trend of the Japanese army has gone, and merchants in Wuhan have exchanged yen for gold and silver. But Sun Hongyi was not enthusiastic about this. He continuously delivered supplies to the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army on the edge of Yu'e, regardless of cost and without expecting anything in return.
4. Get imprisoned and eat the Buddha
Autumn 1945. After Japan's surrender, Nationalist troops entered Wuhan and hunted down Communist underground workers and United Front figures. The party organization promptly informed Sun Hongyi and asked him to take refuge in the Dabie Mountains.
Sun Hongyi believes that he has not held a Japanese pseudo-position, and he is not a traitor, so he does not have to be afraid or hide. Under the repeated persuasion of the party organization, Sun Hongyi agreed to leave Hankou.
At the end of 1945, after Sun Hongyi finished his follow-up affairs, he drove to the Liberated Area of Southern Henan. He saw a warrant posted on the dock of the station to arrest him, and he knew that the problem was serious. He put on makeup and later came to Xinyang, unfortunately recognized by acquaintances, and was immediately captured by the Kuomintang and escorted to the Kuomintang 119th Division.
Sun Hongyi was kept in prison, and no one came to interrogate him. In fact, at that time, the Kuomintang officers only felt that he was a local business tycoon and wanted to take the opportunity to extort a sum of money, and if Sun was willing to pay, he could soon be released. Many business people were treated the same way at the time, and it had become an unwritten rule.
As expected, a few days later, when the Kuomintang officer saw that Sun Hongyi's family had not taken money to ransom people, they directly put forward conditions to him, two thousand gold bars, and immediately released them. Sun Hongyi laughed loudly, asking for money, wanting a head. The Kuomintang repeatedly lowered the price from two thousand gold bars to one thousand, and then from one thousand to one hundred, and finally proposed to take 20 taels of gold and release people.
In fact, Sun Hongyi does not have so much money, over the years, he looks very beautiful and makes a lot of money. Because he first had to take care of the Japanese, Anan only had to get a commission, most of the materials delivered to the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army were free aid, and he himself did not love money, so 20 taels of gold was already a large amount for him.
His wife ran around, spent half a year, looked for Sun Hongyi's past friends and colleagues, and borrowed all the money that could be borrowed, and only then did she gather enough gold to save Sun Hongyi.
After his release from prison, Sun Hongyi was penniless, and at this time, the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army was attacked by the Kuomintang troops and had broken through, and his contact with Li Xiannian was completely broken.
Lushan Donglin Temple
Sun Hongyi is nearly old, remembering the situation of his life, quite emotional, "Life is like travel, this earth is like an inn, only those who have attained enlightenment can transcend." Thinking of this, Sun Hongyi decided to return to her hometown of Lushan, become a monk, not ask about the world, and seek self-liberation.
When he saw that his wife was still young, he persuaded her to remarry and start a new life. In this way, the 70-year-old Sun Hongyi cut his hair and became a monk and went to Lushan to become a monk.
5. Li Xian never forgot his old friend
After the liberation of Wuhan, Li Xiannian became chairman of the Hubei Provincial People's Government. He did not forget his old friend Sun Hongyi, who had helped him, and the organizers inquired around, and for a while there was no news.
Later, Han Dazai, a well-known person, learned about Sun Hongyi's situation and made a special trip to report the matter to Li Xiannian. At this time, Sun Hongyi's life fell into difficulty again, after liberation, the temple land could not collect rent, the temple incense was broken, and he had nothing to rely on.
When Chairman Li Xiannian heard about it, he immediately sent someone to Lushan to pick up Sun Hongyi and take him down the mountain. However, Sun Hongyi did not want to go down the mountain and relayed to Chairman Li Xiannian: "Please send greetings to Chairman Li and thank him for his concern." But I am out of the house and must not be vulgar. After Chairman Li Xiannian heard about it, he was so moved that he could only send some money to help him live.
In the spring of 1952, Chairman Li Xiannian invited Mr. Han Dazai, a good friend of Sun Hongyi, to go up Lushan Mountain and invite Sun Hongyi down the mountain.
Li Xiannian when he was the chairman of Hubei Province
Chairman Li Xiannian's sincere invitation touched Sun Hongyi, and the two met again in Wuhan. Soon Sun Hongyi was placed in the counselor's office of the provincial people's government, and his life was finally stable.
Later, the husband of Sun Hongyi's remarried wife died of illness, and Sun remarried with him again to form a new family. Sun Hongyi's family life was not rich, and his friend asked him to write to Commander-in-Chief Zhu De. Sun Hongyi said: "'Debt claim'? Can my Sun Hongyi do it? Not to mention that people's state affairs are heavy! ”
In 1962, Sun Hongyi died of illness in Hankou at the age of 86. Mr. Sun Hongyi's life is extraordinary. As a soldier, he has galloped on the battlefield; as a businessman, he has been prominent; as a Chinese, he has contributed to the cause of China's national liberation.
Sun Hongyi left like this, silently, so quietly that it was difficult to find even a picture of him now. But history must not forget those who have worked hard and made contributions to the cause of the liberation of the Chinese nation! Mr. Sun Hongyi went all the way!
