The county order refers to the head of a county, which originated in the Warring States period. In history, there have been many famous county orders, such as Tao Yuanming, Di Renjie and so on. The "Official Code of Counties and Counties" has a record: the county order, the head of the government order, is also the fifth product; this official is relatively small, but the position of the county order is still relatively important, after all, it can also be regarded as a local hegemon. To say that the position of the county order is often a few years, it will be promoted, but this position is not hereditary. But in ancient China, there was a place that was different, and the county orders of this place came from the same family for 800 years, and it was the same regardless of whether it was a change of dynasty.
This place is Qufu, which was once the place where the emperor was born, and it was also the ancient capital of Shennong, and Yin Shang was also once here. Qufu is located in the southwest of Shandong Province, one has 8 towns, not big or small. What family in this place can be a county order for 800 years? Then there is only one answer, Qufu was once the capital of the State of Lu, of course, this is not important. Importantly, this is a man's hometown. This man has been revered as a saint for more than two thousand years, and he is Confucius.
To say that all of China knows the celebrity, Confucius must be counted as one, and to this day, the Confucianism he founded is still influencing Chinese and the world' people. The world's evaluation of him has always been very high, and there was a Warring States period, and in the Han Dynasty, Confucius was directly canonized. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty deposed hundreds of families and exalted Confucianism alone, pushing Confucianism to the pinnacle. This idea was also deeply loved by the feudal rulers, and it became the orthodox and mainstream idea for more than two thousand years.
As the initiator of this doctrine, Confucius was subsequently revered as a saint. One of the things that successive emperors would do was to give Confucius a posthumous title, and even the Republic of China was still posthumously. If you want to say that that family can prosper for a thousand years by one person, it is estimated that only the Confucius family is. It doesn't matter how the dynasty changes, whether it is Han or Mongol, it doesn't matter. The Kong family will always have a place.
For example, the title of Yan Sheng Gong, which is the hereditary title of Confucius's eldest son, began in 1055 (the second year of the Song Dynasty) and was not used until 1935. In fact, the canonization of Confucius's descendants began as early as 195 BC (the twelfth year of Han Gaozu), and the eighth grandson of Confucius was named a worshipper, and Yan Sheng gong was only later renamed. That is to say, this title lasted for nearly two thousand years. The name of Yan Sheng Gong is not small, in the Song Dynasty it was equivalent to eight pins, the Yuan Dynasty became three pins, and the early Ming Dynasty became a pin.
The Yansheng Gongfu was the largest palace in the country after the Ming and Qing Imperial Palaces, and the Kong family won from the womb. As the hometown of Confucius, Qufu has also been respected by countless people, and confucius's descendants have also lived here for generations. At the beginning, no one wanted Confucius's descendants to serve as county orders or anything, after all, Yan Sheng Gong was only an honorific title to enjoy. But Tang Yizong probably admired Confucius too much, and he believed that Confucius's descendants should not be managed by others.
With a big hand, the 40th generation grandson of Confucius was crowned in the seventh year of Xiandao (866) and made the county order of Qufu. It was not enough to give him one person, and the order was given, and the county orders of Qufu in the future were all left to the Kong family. As a result, this official position also became hereditary. It continued until the twenty-first year of the Qianlong Qing Dynasty, that is, in 1756. It is no wonder that this county ling family is powerful, even if it is not a county ling family.
However, Confucius's descendants are indeed busy enough, and they have to engage in culture in managing public security, after all, this is the ancestral thing, and it has become their natural duty. In Qufu, they also had to preside over the annual confucius ceremony, which was not simple, and in the Ming Dynasty, it was even similar to the specifications of the emperor, and the emperor would come in person if he did not know it.
