Chao Zhengkun claimed to be a descendant of Chao Gai, the leader of Shuipo Liangshan, the King of Tota, and was sent down by heaven to save the suffering. At that time, the rural news was closed, and people quickly believed it.
In 1982, Chao Zhengkun founded the "Qinghua Sacred Sect". She used her influence to absorb believers, absorbing nearly 400 people.
The extreme expansion of ambition made Chao Zhengkun feel that he could do something bigger—to be called emperor.
Her followers did not doubt that he had him, and they all approved of promoting Chao Zhengkun as a female emperor.
On the 9th day of the 9th month of the 9th lunar month in 1986, Chao Zhengkun held a solemn enthronement ceremony in the courtyard of believers on the grounds of "Mandate of Heaven".
Chao Zhengkun called himself the "Holy Emperor" and established the "Great Saint Dynasty". The reason why it is called Dasheng is to emulate Wu Zetian.

It is recorded in the "Imperial Dream" that Chao Zhengkun, in order to make his followers willingly send beautiful young men to himself, made such a promise: the family of the chosen concubine can directly enter the dynasty as an official, and can also be protected by the gods. In order to increase their influence, in 1987, the followers of the Qinghua Sacred Sect spread that this year was a year of great disaster, and if they wanted to crack it, they must join the Qinghua Sacred Sect and sacrifice to the heavens in the courtyard. Many unknown villagers have joined the Qinghua Sacred Sect, and the maximum number can reach 2,000.
The fall of the Great Holy Dynasty
After Chao Zhengkun was the emperor for a while, she was not satisfied with the submission of only a few villages, she went out and knew the prosperity outside. So the idea of going out to collect believers and expand their own dynasty came up.
She went to Beijing, Tianjin and other places, the bustling scene fascinated her eyes, and after returning to Shandong, she decided to seize power in chaos, and then really ascended the throne in the Forbidden City.
When she returned, she began her own plan, printing many leaflets for the Holy King's Seating Hall to promote her Qinghua Holy Sect and the Great Saint Dynasty, and also producing more than 400 banners with the words "Long live the Holy Pilgrimage".
At her direction, 60 faithful believers began their missionary journey. Unfortunately, during the mission, a group of believers were found by local security firefighters at the railway station, and learned of Chao Zhengkun's plan during interrogation, and immediately reported it to the Shandong Provincial Public Security Bureau.
Under the command of the public security organs, believers across the country were netted out, and because of the bad nature of the cult, Chao Zhengkun was sentenced to death in April 1990 and executed on the same day. Other believers were also convicted, and the Great Holy Dynasty was eventually overthrown.
