Porsche's major sports SUV model, the Cayenne, has launched a platinum edition to further meet market expectations for sportiness, luxury and practicality. The Cayenne Platinum Edition series is based on three power versions: Cayenne (250 kW / 340 PS), Cayenne E-Hybrid (284 kW / 386 PS) and Cayenne S (324 kW / 440 PS) and covers both SUV and Coupé body forms. The satin-to-platinum design aptly embellishes the bodywork, making cayenne platinum's collection uniquely recognisable. The extensive standard configuration ensures the daily practicality of the new car. Six new cars are now officially launched in pre-sales in the Chinese market and will make their Chinese debut at the Shenzhen Auto Show in June.
A number of special design details in satin platinum give the Cayenne Platinum Edition a refined and unique look. This exclusive platinum design, including inserts on the front air outlet slats, the Porsche lettering on the LED taillight straps, the model logo at the rear, and the standard 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels, are painted in platinum. The sports tailpipes and side window strips are black, emphasizing the sportiness and elegance of this special collection. Porsche offers a wide selection of body colours for cayenne platinum, including: solid white and black finishes, black jade metallics, fine-flowered white metallics, peach mahogany metallics, moonlight blue metallics, and special colours of matte greys.
The interior design is also self-contained. Matte grey harnesses, brushed aluminium sill skid plates with the "Platinum Edition" logo, textured aluminium interior components, and silver trim that dot the interior create cayenne platinum's unique and elegant interior.
A wide range of standard features ensure the outstanding everyday practicality of cayenne Platinum Edition, including LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Lighting (PDLS), panoramic sunroof system, privacy glass, BOSE surround sound system, ambient mood light, 8-way adjustable leather sports seats, Porsche coat of arms embossed on the headrests of the front and rear seats, and an analog clock on the centre console.
