Bloomberg reported that South Park authors Matt Stone and Trey Parker signed a new contract worth $900 million with ViacomCBS, which will be used to produce new South Park episodes and a series of spin-offs.
Spin-offs include 14 Paramount + streaming, the first big movie is expected to be released before the end of this year, it is reported that the signing of a new cooperation agreement will continue until 2027, in addition to the above-mentioned films, it will also contain the latest 6 seasons of South Park.
According to people familiar with the terms of the deal, at the beginning of this year, the authors Stone and Parker received a $600 million loan from HPS Investment Partners with their nearly $1 billion series of works. Part of the loan was used for the production of South Park spin-off films, and part of the loan was used by the creators to invest in a series of other creative projects, including a new 3D game based on the South Park worldview.
