Foreign media reports: Chinese and Cuban teenagers "performed" to welcome the Winter Olympics

The reference news network reported on January 20 that according to the Latin American News Agency reported on January 18, teenagers from Cuba and China used art and cultural works to greet the upcoming 24th Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing on the 18th.

The children strengthened their bond through a painting exhibition held in anticipation of the Winter Olympics. Beijing will use the Winter Olympics to become the only "double Olympic city" in the world that has hosted the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.

According to the report, the exhibition was held at the Jintai Art Museum in Beijing, exhibiting 138 works painted by students from ancient and Chinese countries, which reflected their vision of the Winter Olympics.

The report pointed out that the Cuban side exhibited 26 works by students of the National Academy of Fine Arts of San Alejandro, while the Chinese participants were students from many primary and secondary schools in the city.

In addition to the exhibition, children from both countries also presented a performance that included classical ballet, poetry readings, song performances and more.

Representatives of both countries stressed the importance of the event in promoting exchanges among new generations, encouraging them to deepen their understanding of the Winter Olympics, and their positive impact on the development of bilateral relations.

Cuba's Ambassador to China, Carlos Miguel Pereira, described the event as a living example of cuba and China's efforts to ensure that young people receive a comprehensive education. He expressed the support, congratulations and good wishes of the Cuban people for the successful hosting of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, and predicted that it will undoubtedly make history.
