As the first Taiwan-funded "future factory" in Zhejiang, the first phase of Man Wah Future Automotive Smart Industrial Park has now realized the unmanned process from product manufacturing to testing.
"By detecting product contours and precise positioning, intelligent robots can realize the disorderly and accurate pick-and-place of products, replace a large number of manual operations, and improve production efficiency." Xiong Juqin, deputy secretary of the party committee of Minshi Group and manager of the comprehensive management department of the "Future Factory", introduced that the current poor yield rate in the workshop has been reduced to 1%, and the overall efficiency of equipment has increased to 75%.

Zhejiang and Taiwan are separated by the sea, and their personal affinities and business relations are connected. In 2021, Zhejiang will deeply implement the strategy of "attracting Taiwan investment from the east", implement various policies for benefiting Taiwan and enterprises, promote the accelerated integration of Taiwan enterprises into the new development pattern, and continuously promote the integrated economic development of Zhejiang and Taiwan.
With the acceleration of industrial digitalization and digital industrialization, the province is leading more qualified manufacturing enterprises and industrial clusters to take the initiative to change and upgrade. Among them, many Taiwan businessmen have begun to embrace new opportunities for digital development.
Minshi Group, which has been deeply rooted in Zhejiang for nearly 30 years, as a representative of China's manufacturing auto parts, has taken the lead in the road of digital transformation, from "machine substitution" to "industrial brain + future factory", moving forward in the direction of "intelligent manufacturing" in Zhejiang.
"The most important thing in the automotive industry is supply chain management, and digital transformation has helped us a lot." Bao Huisu, deputy chief executive officer of Minshi Group, introduced that three years ago, enterprises began to explore digital transformation. The creation of the "Factory of the Future" has changed the company.
Bao Huisu believes that the "factory of the future" not only redefines the digital management mode of end-to-end business, new technologies such as human-machine collaboration, data collection, and low-carbon environmental protection, but also redefines the factory, workers and the entire manufacturing industry, accelerating the rapid replication of the future in the world.
"Our second phase plans to build a 'factory of the future' agglomeration area, share the experience related to digital reform with upstream and downstream enterprises, empower small and medium-sized enterprises to transform and upgrade, establish a 'smart manufacturing industry' ecosystem, realize the digitization of the industrial chain of the automotive industry, and then enhance the global competitiveness of products." Bao Huisu said.
At present, many Taiwanese investors in Zhejiang are exploring the use of digital technology to develop new ideas for the development of the manufacturing industry and contribute to the manufacturing of Zhejiang.
"Zhejiang has created a very good development environment for Taiwan businessmen, especially in the digital transformation of the local government can be said to be very bold." Bao Huisu said that in order to promote the transformation and landing of new things, the province has also set up an industrial fund for the digital transformation of enterprises to bring confidence to the development of enterprises.
"At present, the new development pattern, scientific and technological innovation, and rural revitalization all include opportunities for cross-strait exchanges, cooperation, and integrated development, and provide broad space for the development of the vast number of Taiwan compatriots." Zhang Yueqin, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Jiaxing City, introduced that the city is actively building a long-term working mechanism for service Taiwan compatriots and innovating to promote digital management services for Taiwan-funded enterprises.
It is reported that since the first Taiwan-funded enterprise settled in Jiaxing in 1987, the city has introduced a total of 1877 Taiwan-funded enterprises, with a total investment of nearly 22 billion US dollars.
Among them, there are 232 Taiwan-funded high-tech enterprises and small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Zhejiang Province, 254 enterprises on the regulations, 16 listed enterprises, 4 state-level "specialized, special and new" small giant enterprises (accounting for 12% of the city), and 3 of the 9 world's top 500 Taiwan-funded enterprises have invested in Jiaxing.
Nowadays, Taiwan-funded enterprises have formed distinctive industrial clusters in the local area, making important contributions to the high-quality development of the region. "Jiaxing is striving to build a high-quality Highland for Taiwanese capital gathering, and constantly stimulate the wisdom of Taiwan compatriots in participating in the development of the digital economy." Zhang Yueqin said. (End)
