For the marshal, you don't have to go to battle to kill the enemy, and in the midst of planning, you can also win thousands of miles away. But the strength of a unit depends not only on the commander- but also on the degree of combat effectiveness of the soldiers. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, a large number of heroic soldiers emerged in our army.
General Chen Geng graduated from the Whampoa Military Academy and was an excellent military and revolutionary, and in the course of many years of conquest, he trained many outstanding generals. The character introduced today is called Chu Daming, who is brave and fierce, not afraid of death, and is known as the first fierce general under Chen Geng.
In 1916, Chu Daming was born in Shangcheng County, Henan Province, and most of the people of that era lived in poverty. When he was a teenager, he studied medicine with a local Langzhong and wanted to have a craft to support himself. Although his body is relatively thin, his heart is hot, and he has always wanted to serve the motherland and save the life.
By chance, Chu Daming met Chen Xinglang, an underground communist party member who was on a mission at Dabie Mountain. Infected by it, he decided to join the revolution. After serving as the leader of the Children's Regiment for a period of time, he officially joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army at the age of 16.
Because he had learned some medical skills, coupled with his small stature and unfit for the front line, Chu Daming initially worked as a nurse in the hospital. But full of enthusiasm, he did not want to stay in the rear at all, but clamored to go to the front. Xu Shiyou felt that his courage was commendable, so he transferred him to his side as a guard.
Since then, Chu Daming's heroism has gradually begun to be revealed. The first time he went to war, he showed courage that did not match the recruits. Probably under the influence of Xu Shiyou, he rushed to the front every time he fought, and "blood spattered armor" was already commonplace. He sometimes ridiculed: "Commander Xu always charges at a critical moment, how can I, the guard, be left behind?" ”
After a year of tempering, Chu Daming joined the Communist Party and was frequently promoted with his outstanding performance. After following the Red Fourth Front on the Long March, he gradually grew into an excellent soldier who was willing to endure hardships, kill the enemy, lead, and have certain experience.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he was appointed as the commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 20th Regiment of the Ji'nan Military Region. Because the former battalion commander was shot and the morale of all the soldiers in the battalion was low, Chu Daming quickly mobilized everyone's enthusiasm, not only to restore morale, but also to teach the soldiers to watch over the family: "fight bayonets"!
Chu Daming said bluntly that since the equipment and the Japanese army are very different, it is better than courage with the other side. Although there is a shortage of guns and few cannons, as long as you are brave and tenacious, you can turn the situation around. Under his leadership, the combat effectiveness of the whole battalion has been qualitatively improved. He himself was later promoted to the commander of the 20th Regiment of the Taiyue Military Region.
In a battle, Chu Daming led his troops into the Japanese military camp, facing the Japanese soldiers with bayonets, he took the lead, after killing an enemy with a gun, he fought with another enemy, because he was knocked out of the front teeth by the other side, he was suddenly furious and cut out the eyes of the other party alive. This move instantly boosted everyone's morale. In another battle, Chu Daming and the enemy wrestled together, and at the moment of life and death, he bit off the ears of the other party and smashed the other party with his fists one after another.
After many battles, large and small, Chu Daming was already famous and made the enemy feel frightened. After that, he continued to rush to the forefront of the battle, and created a street fighting style of "moving through the wall and fighting in a roundabout way", which was well received by Chen Geng. He himself was known as the "Tiger General", and the regiment he led was also known as the "Chu Tuan".
Unfortunately, in the Battle of Fenxiao, the 31-year-old Chu Daming unfortunately died. In his life, he had 62 scars all over his body and had passed death 28 times. Chen Geng commented on him like this: "Taiyue will be fierce, and chu daming will be the first to be promoted!" ”
Looking back at history, it was precisely because of the hard work of chu daming and these heroic fighters that the stable development of new China was achieved. Let us remember their spirit, be grateful for their contributions, and build our motherland in a better state!
