More than ten years ago, she was chosen to become a national television news anchor, but she suffered setbacks because of her lack of experience, and after becoming a live reporter during the SARS period, the real-life canine teeth intertwined feeling of skin, let her get rid of the shackles of appearance and self bit by bit, and have a broader and deeper understanding of life and human nature.

In ten years, SARS, the Wenchuan earthquake, the report of the two sessions, the Beijing Olympics... At the scene of every major event, Chai Jing's figure can be found almost everywhere, and she has also produced many rigid investigative reports such as South China Tiger Photograph and Land Acquisition.

In the book, she documents the moving details that are drowned in the grand narrative, leaving a personal footnote for the times. As always, Chai Jing saw and recorded the individuals in the news who left a strong impression of her life, everyone was deeply embedded in the world, no one could be just a bystander, and what others experienced, I must endure. The people and things recorded in the book are their lives, but also the lives of you and me.

"Seeing" is an autobiographical work by well-known journalist and host Chai Jing about the ten-year journey of CCTV, which is not only Chai Jing's personal growth confession, but also, to some extent, a memorandum of ten years of changes in Chinese society.

Chai Jing, a native of Linfen, Shanxi, was born in 1976. He once hosted "Gentle Night" on Hunan Literature and Art Radio and "New Youth" on Hunan Satellite TV. In 2001, he joined CCTV and successively served as a host and reporter in the columns of "Time and Space Connection", "News Investigation", "24 Hours" and "Face to Face". He is now the host of a set of special programs "See" on CCTV.
