Expert Reminder:

Recently, the New Coronavirus Semikron variant has been found in many countries and regions around the world, and locally confirmed cases have also been found on the mainland. Compared with the Delta mutant strain, the Aumechjong mutant strain has stronger transmission and concealment, which poses greater challenges to prevention and control. Everyone is the first person responsible for their own health, we must continue to do a good job in health protection, insist on not leaving the country, not going to medium- and high-risk areas and areas with local cases of epidemics, and reduce cross-provincial and cross-regional mobility.

First, take the initiative to report in a timely manner, and cooperate with prevention and control management. Those who have recently lived in epidemic areas with local cases, especially those who have trajectories intersecting with newly confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected people, should take the initiative to report to their units, communities (village groups) or hotels, and actively cooperate with the implementation of prevention and control measures such as information registration, nucleic acid testing, isolation and observation. Pay close attention to the authoritative information released by the official epidemic, the dynamics of the domestic epidemic situation and the changes in medium- and high-risk areas, do not believe in rumors, do not spread rumors, always maintain vigilance, strict prevention, and support and cooperation with prevention and control measures.

2. Actively vaccinate against the new crown virus. Vaccination is the best way to prevent COVID-19, helping to build a herd immunity barrier, slow and ultimately interrupt the epidemic, and protect the health of individuals and families. Please follow the arrangements of the community or unit, strictly follow the immunization procedures, and vaccinate in turn on time. Timely and intensive immunization of key populations.

III. Adhere to normalized epidemic prevention and control measures. Winter is the high incidence of respiratory infectious diseases, and masks should be worn in crowded places and confined spaces. In public places such as shopping malls, restaurants, hotels, theaters, and stadiums, actively cooperate with measures such as wearing masks, measuring the temperature of codes, and one-meter lines. When taking public transportation, elevators, and visiting hospitals, patients with fever or respiratory infections, as well as high-risk exposed personnel in medical and health, transportation and other industries, should wear masks correctly.

IV. Enhance awareness of personal protection. Adhere to good personal hygiene habits such as frequent hand washing, wearing masks, frequent ventilation, less gathering, using public chopsticks, and the meal sharing system. Once symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, decreased sense of smell and taste, conjunctivitis, myalgia and diarrhea appear, they should be treated in accordance with the standardized procedures in a timely manner, and take the initiative to inform the 14-day activity trajectory and contact history. Wear a mask at all times during your visit and avoid public transportation.
