NIO launched 7kW and 11kW DC charging piles

NIO recently officially launched 7kW and 11kW DC charging piles, suitable for all NIO models, and is expected to start delivery in early March.

WEILAI 7kW and 11kW DC charging pile adopts integrated all-aluminum body design, in line with IP65 level dustproof and waterproof standards, with intelligent network function, support for full Netcom 4G interconnection and mobile phone Bluetooth active recognition, can achieve remote appointment charging and remote software upgrades. In addition to meeting the user's personal charging needs, WEILAI DC charging piles can also be shared by accessing the NIO App, which is convenient for more electric vehicle users to power up. The new charge gun features a better ergonomic design, skin-like materials for a more natural grip and a more comfortable touch, and an integrated one-touch stop button for a quick end to charging. NIO DC charging pile provides two types of wall mounting and floor-standing installation methods, of which the installation of 11kW DC charging pile requires 380V three-phase AC power support.

ET7 users who lock the single order on or before March 28, 2022 can upgrade and install the 11kW DC charging pile free of charge; users who repurchase ET7 can use the first pile of ET7 charging pile to replace the original Weilai AC charging pile with a DC charging pile (the old pile needs to be recycled), and enjoy the free power exchange benefit 6 times a month.
