The drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Ye Murin and directed by Daisaku Kimura, who has directed "Sword Mountain: The Record of Points" and "Carrying Spring". Okada Junichi was expelled from the domain for denouncing his misconduct and returned to his hometown to fulfill his deceased wife's last wishes. Hidetoshi Nishijima plays one of the Four Heavenly Kings, who is a close confidant of the lord of the domain.
