BMW i7 new car is based on BMW's latest CLAR We platform, the new car will use a split LED headlight group for the first time, the size of the double kidney grille is further increased, which is consistent with the design concept of the next generation of fuel version 7 Series. As can be seen through the camouflage of the body, the fog light areas on both sides of the grille under the road test trapezoid are also designed with air intakes.
On the side of the body, the new 7 Series has a long nose and short rear design, which further reflects the sporty sense of the vehicle. Compared with the current 7 Series models, the details such as the rear window and the D-pillar have been adjusted, and the side lines of the body are smoother. The exterior door handles are not opened in the usual way, or are the same as the inline design of the BMW iX.
The interior of the new BMW i7 is expected to use the same design style as the BMW iX, with the 12.3-inch and 14.9-inch dual screens highlighting the technological atmosphere, while the car will be equipped with the latest iDrive 8.0 operating system.
In terms of configuration, referring to the fuel version of the 7 Series, it is expected that the new BMW i7 will provide air suspension, electric opening and closing doors and L3 level auxiliary driving according to configuration and optional equipment.
In terms of power, the new car will use BMW's latest eDrive electric drive technology, and it is expected to launch three versions of the i740, i750 and i7 M60. The i740 will use rear-wheel drive, while the i750 and i7 M60 will use all-wheel drive. The i7 M60 will also be tuned by the M Performance Automobile division, with a maximum power of 660 horsepower, 0-100km/h will be controlled within 4 seconds, and equipped with a 120kWh capacity battery pack, the cruising range is expected to exceed 700km.
In the future, after the official launch of the BMW i7, it will compete with the Mercedes-Benz EQS and Tesla's new Model S, and the price is expected to be about 1 million yuan. Among them, the Mercedes-Benz EQC has been listed in China, with a price range of 1.0796-151.86 million yuan, and the longest model has an endurance of 849km; tesla's new Model S is expected to enter the domestic market in the second quarter of this year.
